Well, first of all, I'm not connected with V Expressions ltd at all. I just bought this pack only because I hear about it from another youtuber. I paid for my Td50KV2 almost 7000GPB and I decided to buy V expressions pack Arsenal and Armory together. I've paid 140 USD for this and it's not to much if you consider all costs, but what I found was worth any penny spent on this pack. I absolutely love this packs, they sound amaizing and open to me new world of my new drums sounding, why Roland can't give us all possibilities of sounding when we pay a lot of monies. Anyway I only try to say that anybody who want to buy KV50x module should buy also your expansins packs immediately because it changes everything. Thank you for your hard work.

One of the presets is named “Decoded”. Say no more, i have been learning Decode recently and can’t wait to play it with your preset Alan!
I mixed that one between the live & studio sound. It was unique mixing Zac & Aaron’s sounds together.
I am using the TD-50X. I don't like the Drumtech Real Acoustic Presets. Does your kit make a better TD-50? I am interested in the arsenal preset. $80 feels expensive ㅠ Still, there is hope to purchase. I'm thinking about whether it's a better choice than Drum-tec

Hey Mate. Like your work a lot. Thanks for the great kits. I notice a lot of crackling in your Audio. You may want to check buffer settings or latency of your audio interface.
Here, or the website samples? I would have to check it out. I did upgrade to Win11 before the recordings and video. I know my interface is still under testing for compatibility. Let me know so I can dig into the area you’re talking about and look for any issue. I may just have missed it.
After a little analyzation, I think you may be talking about an overzealous gate in this video. That, along with UA-cam's wonderful encoding make for a wonderful result. lol I'll have to lighten my gate up. My mic may have also been a bit further away than usual, and that TLM-103 picks up everything in the room... and the next... and the next. Sometimes, I need to gate out my son screaming at his games in the next room. lol
As far as the site examples, the only thing I found there are terrible quality drumless tracks from UA-cam warbling in the background. lol
In other news, Roland did release a new driver for Win11 and the Roland Studio Capture, so your post helped remind me to go check and update. Thanks!

Happy new year Alan and everyone! Been looking forward to this for a while and headed to the vex website for some listening.... the kits sound great. Always so impressed with the Tom and cymbal realism you manage to get Alan. My only gripe with the arsenal pack was there did seem to be some phasing issues on some kits (not many mind). I noticed on dry kits that sometimes the toms had phasing issues. From memory it was ‘cherry kit (2)’ and Ludwig kit toms were a little out. Not so noticeable once you use the wetter kits. Is there a work around I can do to correct this Alan? Thanks again for all the hard work. Armory sounds awesome 😀
I’ll double check to ensure I got layers as close as possible, but it’s a byproduct of trying to tune layers to match. Think of it as attempting to tune batter and bottom heads that are not the same. On a drum, you can manage that. When it comes to samples, your hands get tied at how close you can get. So, what you should hear in those very rare instances is something that sounds like a slight pitch bend that settles after the transient. That’s as close as I can get in those very rare cases. As you mentioned (and I remember), it is only the cherry kit and a derivative of that or a similar set of toms. I’ll check those two kits tomorrow to see if I can get any closer, but I doubt it. I spent hours tuning in layers as close as I could. It’s simply a tuning/sample limitation. The work around would only be changing the sub-layer to match the main instrument, but there are already toms sets like that as well.
