I'm having troubles with adding/inserting new lines with that moves all other code below a line down. Also is it normal that instead of automatically moving the code it just automatically replaces it. It's super enoying and counterproductive. No such bullshit in VScode.
Use Alt+Shift+F10 to go through your run configurations. I think there is no shortcut to open new files in Pycharm, but Shift + shift might work to search for files in your project and open them.
Can you please tell me how can we run multiple scripts simultaneously. Ex.I have to run prg1.py and prg.2 at same time.Both files located in the same project.
Not sure if that's what you're asking for but you can run both scripts simultaneously (but also independently) in two different python consoles: select all code and hit Shift+Alt+E, open a new console (plus sign somewhere to the left of the current console) and then repeat the process with the code of the other script. In a similar fashion you should also be able to run two scripts from terminals or through the run configurations that PyCharm offers.

Quick Note 5:45 you could get the same effect holding on mouse middle button and dragging.

You can also ALT + LeftMouseClick in different locations.

I also recently found ctrl + backspace/delete along with ctrl + arrow key similarly to you. haha they really are great additions to text editing.
You can also use ctrl + shift + arrow to highlight
fun fact if you wanna do this in the Linux terminal press esc ones or hold alt and backspace for word by word deletion.
