I really like this Aquaman because the suit looks great but the side eyes do bug me a little bit and even though I don't have him, I will get him eventually because I have the Rebirth Superman which looks awesome in my opinion and I hope to get a more classic Superman from McFarlane, Thank you for the video.
You're very welcome! I predict they will reissue this figure with a more classic head at some point. Also, I predict they will use the upcoming 7" Page Puncher Superman as a base body for a classic Superman.
It's only a matter of time where Mcfarlane would sell this again in a variant version of a classic head since the body is good and doesn't need any tweaks just the head.
Exactly. The question is will it be a stand alone variant you can pass on if you have this one, or will it be packed in a Build-A wave like John Stewart?
I love mcfarlanes toys but I hate his flimsy weapons on certain mcfarlane. But thank God we have artists on etsy available forn3d 1:10th scale 3d prints!!!!
Very funny opening & nice review. This figure is cool but a repaint for the eyes is a must. McFarlane has no idea how to scale these figures, the heights are so off it’s laughable. I’d say long hair / beard Arthur is best.
I think the issue is that they’re scaled to each unique story wave. The rebirth line scales relatively fine. Expect Manhunter should be taller. The Gotham knights & endless winter & last knight waves scale well also. But once you try to mix waves then you definitely run into trouble
Anyways have you seen a reveal of the dc direct page punchers black Adam wave figure reveals like the darkened color superman and armored batman (whose design inspired the batman suit) man because I will get them once they're out now also are you keen on getting them when they come out eventually like are you gonna get the superman and batman figures to review and put in your collection man?
I don't think you guys would forgive me if I didn't at least review Batman and Superman (and do a bunch of head swaps) lol so those are a must. I also really like that Black Adam. Constantine is good too, but I am not as attached to that character (though he would go well with Swamp Thing, Etrigan, and my DC Collectibles Zatanna).
Okay, watched the whole thing. This Aquaman looks fantastic, and am getting him from Amazon tomorrow. I saw a head swap with Neca Flash Gordon, so I am going to swap heads when I get both.
Pfft that Amber Heard joke reference was spot on, nice video.
thanks!
Cool pic of him holding the trident above his back at the end, good review! He's certainly one of their best releases!
Thanks so much! Yeah, he is great.
I'd love to see you do a comparison video between this and the new Page Punchers Aquaman
I am still on the fence with that one, but we'll see!
In my opinion, you make very entertaining videos and you deserve more subs! Keep it up!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it.
That intro, Lmao!
lol thank you. I am very proud of that one ha
Agree figure captures that quintessential Aquaman!
Yeah, I really dig it.

aquaman gun trigger hands can hold some harpoon guns
That is a fantastic observation! NECA's Part III Jason has one. I will have to try it.

Completely agree on all points

I’m only to the Amber Heard joke.
Fantastic!!

Yes, I saw that after I did my review. I am thinking about doing the same thing
@@5POAFigureReviews it’s too stinkin’ good looking!
A year ago? 100% but now we have Peter David Aquaman and it’s amazing. I won’t acknowledge phygital Aquaman.
That thing is so hideous. And it's mind-boggling why they used the flashpoint version for the torso.
First!
Nice!
@@5POAFigureReviews Thanks! By the way, you're one of the best reviewers of figures on UA-cam.
