I just bought your Ebook! 😊 I've been a bit burnt out lately and stopped my Art as I was feeling rather uninspired and decided to give myself a rest. The last week or so I've been feeling the inspiration coming back and have been watching a lot of Ghibli again. Then I got a recommendation from your Channel! It's my taste and has stirred my creativity again! So thank you.
Thanks so much and I hope you enjoy reading it! I am so happy to hear my videos has stirred your creativity. I wish you all the luck in your creative endeavors, you got this 🍃
You remind me of the thing that I lost when I started working and abandoning my hobbies--"be a little obsessed"🌱. Thank you for the reminder, Kiara. From a fairy to another🍄✨
This video is so far one of the best guidances in mindset and the way of thinking in general about art, drawing and creativity. I’m very surprised this video hasn’t exploded to millions yet! So many people need to hear this for sure. But one question! Do you consider yourself to have photographic memory, or are the things you’ve been drawing since you were young is the pure result of endless obsessions with the things you love, therefore you see and remember a lot of references in your daily lives? Sorry for the random question, but it’s been circling in my mind since the beginning of the video since your drawings are so fundamentally solid even if you said you didn’t like the fundamental courses! Thank you so much for this
Thank you so much for watching and sharing your thoughts, I am glad you think so! I'm truly so passionate about the muscle of creativity, it makes me very happy to share what I've discovered. In answer to your question, no I don't consider myself to have photographic memory. Yes the things I've been drawing is the result of obsessions, but the only reason I remember them and their details is because I collect them, either physically (like sea shells, gemstones, feathers) or as drawings in my sketchbook (that's why I carry it everywhere). If there's something I'm fascinated about but can't physically collect, I collect it in the form of drawings - e.g. a texture, a pattern, a shape, or even a written description captured in the moment itself. Thank you for your question!
Thanks for sharing with us Kiara. Really awesome to see another artist inspired by Tiagos system as well. I picked up the ebook a while back and appreciate this supplemental video to go along with it. Look forward to more ✌️
Amazing drawings and colors ! Thank you for sharing. I been sketching coloring and collecting papers books paints and love doing art as it connects me to feelings and my fascinations, and a good break from work, headaches and stress. Keep creating ! 💕🦋💕
How are you confident enough to keep creating? Do you ever think "wow this isn't good enough" and feel demotivated? It doesn't seem like you are bothered by skill, and just freely and happily keep creating. But I'm often held back by it I feel.
Yes sometimes I'm the harshest critic of my drawings and there are days I don't like anything I'm creating. But most often my goal is just to express my imagination, realizing that "good art" is subjective. There are simplistic 2D art styles there with limited flat colors that could be compared to extravagant realistic oil paintings, but both are appreciated by their own audiences and more importantly by their creators. Another thing that keeps me creating regardless of my skill is that I'd be quite miserable if I stopped creating, because the act of it fills my soul up
I'd recommend for you if you feel you're held back from creating because you feel you're not good enough is to remember that time will pass whether you draw or not. Rather spend it drawing, because I'm sure you love drawing. I hope this helps and good luck 🌱
I actually didn't even realize this about my thumbs 😅 they have a mind of their own now. They don't hurt. Thanks so much for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video

What is that cool pen you are drawing with. It looks hollow.
It's a regular brown ballpoint, my favourite. No specific brand
Is this acrylics?
In the description she says gouache
What do you use to record your voice for videos?
I just use my phone mic and a cloth to dampen the echo. I'm looking to invest in an upgraded mic soon as I do more voiceovers

My favourite game!
