@@daynad8104 yeah like painting those little matte gold spotlights. She did this in two videos and I think it ruined them. But honestly, the table was a lot of work, I've been through that nightmare. Especially when there's already enough unfinished furniture everywhere you go. A couple coats of dove grey or buttercream would be a quick, easy alternative.

Btw, when making a tassel, if you tie your longer piece around the middle of the bundle of yarn before folding them in half to form the tassel, rather than fixing it to the side afterwards, it balances better and hangs more evenly, because it is centered. 👍👍

There are about the or four DIYers that I watch, but your are my favorite and the only one that I actually subscribed to. The DIY videos are creative and interesting to watch. They provide some good ideas. What I can't stand watching are the videos of people that go on a shopping spree and point out every new item or every item that has returned to the thrift stores. Those shoppers just go from shelf to shelf describing the items. I don't need anyone to describe an item to me. Those videos are pointless and boring. I'm glad that your videos are worth watching. Disregard the naysayers. They are not in the majority.

I live in the uk .Our thrift stores which we call charity shops are generally speaking not any where close to being as well stocked as yours seem to be and I've been using them for dozens of years .
I have more luck at car boot sales .
If you don't know of these it is when a number of sellers pack their cars and vans with things they want to get rid of cheaply and they pay to park up in a field and display their items for sale .
you can get very good items for great prices.Similar to your garage sales.
Sadly my local charity shops are quite pricey .
I have really enjoyed some of your ideas and now I'm disabled without an income I'm going to be watching more of your videos to see what I can re use from around my home and garden .I have to sell my home and it needs a lot of cosmetic updating .it's also huge .

Then wrap another, shorter strand of yarn around the top below the fold and tie the two ends together blending the ends into the tassel. Simple

Your Thrift Store is awesome! Mine are not that good. Love the hoops with the vintage lace. Some of the pieces had good wood look & I wouldn’t paint it. I live on the lake & our house is rustic with beautiful wood pieces & so I decorate with that. Everything is great.
Was this the Blessed Beyond Measure Thrift Store?

Hi Liz. Do you know about what a 60 yr. Old Ethan Allen solid maple drop leaf dining table in perfect condition might be worth? Not even a scratch..

I know it shows me that I’m nuts, but when I do a craft like this, I can never leave the underside unfinished. I know that no one’s going to see it, but it would drive me insane knowing that it wasn’t finished. I know. I know. I need help.
EDIT: Does anyone else have this problem? Please, just one person, so I’m not alone in my lunacy.
