Great info. The switch adjustment looks simple but if not right makes a big difference to operating. Thanks for sharing. The leds are annoying and don’t look quite right. Thanks Bob. 👍
That was very interesting that something as simple as score reel not having enough pressure to make it not work properly . I can’t stand led’s in any EM pins or Bingo’s ! I always try to use only the lights that came when pin was made . Great video !
First EM is coming in next week. It’s in full working order but I’m preparing for future repairs. These videos are perfect. I’m also learning the Aussie accent better. :)
At 10:45 you're showing a switch and how it functions (thanks, great information), but what component are we looking at (example of P2A?) what were the symptoms? Thanks !
It was just to illustrate what the strengthener /stiffiner does if it's mis adjusted can vibrate closed causing problems such as random scoring ! The extra switch we found in the player unit was a hack and had nothing to do with what we were illustrating . Hope that answers your question.
@@goatshedempinballrepair8545 Thanks. After watching again you mention that a random scoring of 5000 points occurs when closing the playfield. 7:18 Later we learn that the symptom implicates a switch engaging when it shouldn't be - a 'swaying' switch, if you may, that should not happen if it's being held back properly by the switch stiffener. Very useful information indeed!

Thanks Bob yeah don't like them either.
Another great video guys, thanks. As for LED's, I totally agree, awful.👍
Thanks Chuck yes they look terrible especially in score reels.

Thanks Jim yes indeed something as simple as that can stop them.

@KenDebono yes I forgot about the 5K and yes that was.when you put the playfield back down doesn't do it now!
Wrong led's, been caught with them before.. ..
We thought that to anyway going to leave upto the owner to see what he wants to do !
