This was simple, the Ravens thought all they had to do was be 'gangsta' and they would win easily, then found out what being a champion really is, discipline, dedication, and determination. You're right about one thing. I live in KC and everyone outside of KC want us to lose anytime they watch us. That's what they did with the Packers, the Cowboys, the Steelers, the 49'ers and the Patriots. That's what happens when you become a dynasty team!
Here's where you're wrong. I like Lamar, but he's over his head. He needs to be a tailback / receiver. He has proven over and over again that he is a great runner but only a fair quarterback. In this day and age, you're not going to the Super Bowl with an average QB.
Second. The Ravens were out-coached. The Chiefs had an answer for everything that the Ravens through at them.
Third. it's one thing to come-from-behind during the regular season, but the stats show that during the playoffs, it's really hard.
I like the Ravens but they really need to change some things if they intend on getting to the next level.

I don't think that anyone with a 2-4 playoff record, especially a quarterback, is a sure fire hall of fame nominee, much less will get in. The way it looks now, the only nfl records that Lamar will hold when his career is over are with his legs, not his arm. I just believe that if the Ravens would draft or trade for a solid quarterback and move Lamar over to a position where he can make more of a difference in the game, they would be a real threat. Love the reaction! As a Chiefs fan since the 1990s, I have to say the Ravens were the team that scared me the most in the playoffs, and they look like they'll be back for another round at the end of this year. Lamar earned that MVP last year, and I get a lot more nervous about playing him than I do Josh Allen or Joe Burrow. Adding Derrick Henry to the mix makes the Ravens' ground game that much more terrifying. The 2 reasons the Ravens lost that AFC title game were first because they forgot that the playoff Chiefs are a completely different team than the regular season Chiefs and second because Zay Flowers, while he has superstar level talent, was still a rookie and made a couple of rookie mistakes.

I can just say that there's only one Andy Reid. Patrick Mahomes is a great great quarterback but Andy Reid makes him all the more better. Ravens defense did a great job. The Chiefs defense did a great job. It came down to a few plays. Either team could have come up on top. Lamar is a great player he'd be even a better player if he had Andy Reid. At some point Patrick Mahomes will be without Travis Kelce and he will be tested just like when he was tested when he lost Tyreek Hill but even more so. Next he will be playing without Andy Reid which will be the ultimate test. It will be interesting to see how he fares during each of these transitions.
I like this point, Andy Reid is definitely instrumental however i do think we should realize what Andy Reid was accomplishing before Patrick Mahomes, which was essentially nothing. I’d like to give Mahomes most the credit
@@Mxrtice not true Andy Reid has accomplished quite a lot. He just didn't get any Super Bowls until he got Mahomes. If you look at his record he's been a winner throughout his career both with the Eagles and the Chiefs. There's no question that Mahomes got him over the top. To evaluate a head coach it's just more than Super Bowls wins. You'll look at the coaches he has groomed throughout his career and where they've gone and how they've been successful. His coaching tree is quite large. His overall coaching staff is excellent. The player's view of him and likeability is second to none. His offensive mind is second to none. All head coaches have weaknesses but the overall package is quite impressive. In the Cap Era I put him as one of the greatest Head coaches for sure.
