Kendrick didn't prevail musically but strategically. Drake's "Family Matters" track was deadly potent; if it had stopped there, the beef would be done. But Kendrick arose from the dead with "Not Like Us," which was like a modernized atomic bomb. After that, matching Kendrick's energy was impossible, especially after "Family Matters" (his grand finale) had already dropped.

nah he won musically too. used like different 45 styles and cadences and every song was completely different. showed his genius in a million different ways. drake just used basic youtube-ass drill type beats. all his shit sounded the same it was boring as hell. some might say it was pacifying.

Y’all sleeping on meet the grams, that maybe be the best diss track of all time, no beat it was strictly personal. I’m surprised as rappers you guys wouldn’t appreciate how cold it was.. even if you take the daughter verse out the track is cold asf. @derekstover6549 you have to be. That's the whole angle. I'm a fan of battle rap and if an angle is fake we're not giving you a round. The fact drake gave him a fake angle and made a song about it can't win him that round. He still won but that's a song nobody will remember in 6 months
