My only problem with the step down argument is that Vince has surrounded himself with people who either think like -or are insanely loyal- to him, that means that if and when he steps down there's a good chance said people are gonna keep the company as unchanged as possible to "Keep Vince's vision" and then it'll just be a new face on the big chair but he same problems
@@blackheart_1852 That's a solid argument. One could argue Triple H was gonna be able to turn the tide, but with Nick Khan having more power than Triple H, who knows what's gonna happen.
@@MemeNess Exactly. Hunter was hopeful from a standpoint of giving more wrestlers opportunities, although a lot of his business practices come from Vince who taught him what he knows. Nick coming in though is a wild card, he's a cutthroat who is profit first. On the one hand that means he'd push anything he sees making profit, but on the other he might cut things too early because he's not seeing profit as soon as he'd like.

He’s definitely this gens Jeff Hardy. He’s that “don’t blink or you’ll miss it” kinda guy. Love how he uses his body as a battering ram against his opponents, it makes sense to use every once of your weight to your advantage when you’re as small as him
@@M1XEDBAG I love how when Darby flies its like he's trying to hurt you. It's not him Flipping around trying to look pretty or being a spot monkey. He's launching his weight at you with all of his will. Darby truly gets it. Hell, in an interview Dean Malenko pointed him out as a standout. To get pointed out by Dean God Damn Malenko, that means you're on the right track.
Darby is so innovative and should be world champ. He's so over and truly gets it.

Petition for Darby Allin to be a bonus character in a Tony Hawk game or in Skate 4.
For Skate 4, instead of the regular tweaks you have when you fall (like judo kick, cannon ball etc), its Darby's moves.
Definitely in skate 4 that would be dope we should make a petition for it

All of the pillars are gold and even future champs. Imo Sammy is the weakest and MJF is the strongest if I had to rank them. It's a toss up between Jack and Darby but maybe Darby takes the cake since we haven't seen enough of Jack as a singles competitor even if he might be a little better in ring. Darby's sort of Foley attitude to spots is amazing and his tnt title run was great.
@@siddhartramotar8774 MJF is by far the most accomplished and talented of the group, with Darby coming second in my opinion: he has that natural charisma that doesn't need too much of mic-skills (similarly to Jeff Hardy) and his wrestling skills are very solid and can have good matches besides the crazy bumps; his only limitation really is the small size, but he knows how to use it to tell the underdog story in the ring.
Jungle Boy is a natural babyface but he needs more personality when it comes to promo.
Sammy honestly I find overrated: he is a phenomenal athlete but his matches are pretty much a spot-fest with little coherence, and he has that cocky persona that works well for a heel but made hard for me to cheer him as a babyface. I think Ricky Starks should be in the conversation instead.

Just want to acknowledge how AEW books Darby by giving him a legend as a manager and now giving him Punk’s return match. WWE would for sure make Punk’s return a dream match with a top superstar instead of a young up and comer. This is how you build talent properly and get them exposure

My 4 year old wakes up and first thing is " play the darby theme " I have to stop him from doing coffin drops and he loves to paint his face like Darby. Being a Jeff hardy kid growing up ,just seeing my son love darby like i loved Jeff is special and amazing.
That's so precious. Honestly that is one thing about Darby I always thought about. I was a Jeff Hardy kid too so when I saw him I knew that he would be to a lot of kids what Jeff was to me and all the others like us and that sort of magic often goes overlooked in wrestling

This is the perfect song for Darby, it has this classic early 90s, dirty grunge sound a la Nirvana or Alice In Chains or something like that. This band usually doesn't make anything like this, the majority of what they do is hip-hop. Cool to see hip-hop artists that are into grunge and hardcore punk and stuff like that, this song really slaps.
The singer is a dead ringer for Ian Curtis too.

Black's theme is a modified version of "Ogentroost" by Amenra. Just skip the first 4-5 minutes of the song at the beginning basically.

Darby is a standup guy down to earth and cool af…meet him for the first time yesterday in front of my house…he was with a group of friends skateboarding down a steep ramp…I couldn’t remember his name immediately then I was like hey aren’t you sting’s boy lol….he was cool about it and we had a great convo…he even attempted to FaceTime sting so that I could wish him a happy bday yesterday…forever a Darby fan!
