Thank you for your fermented cranberry recipe! I did not realize I should change the size of the jar as I used our ferment. It makes sense to be able to keep the liquid on the top of the ferment to protect the ingredients. I have learned so much. Thank you Kathy!

I will definitely keep this recipe, though we do turkey many times through out the year, Thanksgiving is only once a year so I do mini thanksgivings through out the year with all the fixings. Yes, thank you for sharing! I'm liking these fruit ones since I don't eat fruit very often and it tends to go bad before I use it all up. If I could prolong the life of some of them, this is what I will do! Need to research which fruits are suited for fermentation.

Oh, that sounds amazing! I just used the last bag of cranberries I'd bought too. The weights I have don't have a raised nob like that. They are designed like a triple wave and the middle doesn't stick up further than the two on the sides and there is nothing to grab really. I'll have to get ones like you have soon.
I put the link below for the weights. I started with the other ones you describe but it was just too hard for me to get them out. Once I found these, it was great!

Oh yum a cranberry apple combination sounds like a really good combination! I try every year at the holiday season to buy enough to freeze for the entire year. I love them frozen as snacks and always have them on hand that way. I have almost finished the #fermentedfebruary collaboration playlist! I'm definitely going to try this recipe, it sounds delicious. I wonder if ginger bug would work as the starter. Your recommendations of using it on pork roast and on oatmeal really appeals to my taste buds!
