Missed the amount of belt tension that needed to be set at as these belts can go to 90ft lbs and normal range is 45 to 60 ft lbs and the Toyota/Scion XB 1.5L spec is very hard to find!!!!!!
I wish the video showed how he got to that bottom bolt, can't get a ratchet in there because of the airbag sensor and with a box wrench surely can't get enough leverage to loosen it
It looks like some people are taking the front bumper & headlight off to get in there, kudos for making it look a lot easier than it is, mine also has the bracket with an airbag sensor in the way of the lower bolt. The cross member over the radiator was also razor-sharp stamped metal on mine. Everything just looked poorly engineered to be in the way of what should be a simple component to replace.

I used a stubby ratcheting wrench
That bottom bolt makes the job a pain in the ass
