As a kid, I remember a procession of camper vans full of hippies coming down the lane, going 'shrooming ' in the fields behind our house. It was an annual event for them returning to the same fields. I remember it being Autumn time, but later than this - Oct/ Nov as I recall. As a child I used to see it as yet another cycle that played out each year; hazelnuts, acorns, conkers, shroomers....
We used to dry them out on top of LP covers. I have a Jethro tull album with the imprints of shrooms on it from back in the mid 80's. 'Got all nostalgic when I found it 10 or 11 years ago.

sorry about your mate, you're absolutely right they dont suit everybody, but factors such as mental state at the time and genetic dispositions to conditions such as schizophrenia and depression also come into play with this.

Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and many, many more all arrived ready to go after the introduction of mid-Wales water in Birmingham in the 60's. The Welsh wanted a new, better kind of music ... the plan worked.... mushy water did the trick.
I used to love picking and endulging.it's something I have been considering again, but I don't live near where I used to pick so I'm shit out of luck .Not many fields in plymouth.
When I was a teenager over here in N.Ireland tripping on magic mushrooms was a rite of passage. We were to young to buy hash (13-14). I was actually charged and convicted of possession of Psilocybin mushrooms. It was because they were dried and considered in a 'prepared state' . It was a big laugh for my mates, not so much me though. 'Had some great times on 'shrooms'.
I was picking in a field and along came a cop car. Copper walked over and said 'Ok where have you hid them?' I replied 'what these?' and pulled out the bag which gave him a shock right off. 'What are you going to do with them then?" he asked. "Go home and make tea with them" I said. And that was that. I knew they had to be 'prepared' like you mentioned to be illegal. Off he trundled and all was good in the land of Shroom. That was a good few years ago now though.
Anyone reckon it’s too late to be picking round Brecon? I’ve just been there and only found like 10. Almost as if they’ve been picked to death already. Was near abergavenny up in the hill. Thousands of mushroom just not Libs.

Email me at mathewlloydfilm@gmail.com if you’re up for a chat. Would be interesting to hear more about your experience.
Get can we get some security over here!😂
we have great mushrooms here in Victoria (oz] very strong subaeriginosa , up in NSW you can find straphoria cubensis, in cow paddocks but i prefer the subs they are stronger i think. had my first mushie trip in 84 , probably one of the best things ive ever done, i often feel very lucky to have had these experiences.
I'm from North Wales and fucking LOVE them
Am on them now 👍🤪
Well done with this video I hope your channel does well❤
Seriously: my old mate killed himself on mushsies, he jumped off a railway bridge into / onto an oncoming train. For myself, I found them unpleasant, preferred weed. They don't suit everyone, even in small does, we are all different with different brains, even more so these days I think.
sorry about your mate, you're absolutely right they dont suit everybody, but factors such as mental state at the time and genetic dispositions to conditions such as schizophrenia and depression also come into play with this.
To be taken in a safe setting. Set and setting is EVERYTHING. I’m sorry for your friend. But taking shrooms near a train track wasn’t wise to begin with!
Set and setting are crucial (mindset that is)
Tried 300 once with zero tolerance, far & away the heaviest trip I ever did.
I found the beauty of shrooms is how short the trip is, none of the 8 hours on acid or strung out for 18hrs tripping balls on AMT
0:24 Curious is this the famous Talley Valley in Wales, early 1970s? 🤗 It looks very similar to where the ' Rainbow people ' lived in Teepees & vans.
Enjoyed the whole documentary, it is madness they are class a . Nothing like a jar of " golden Sunshine " to keep for those long dark Winters.
They helped my sciatica nerve pain & I stopped taking antidepressants with a little golden help. Best wishes. 😻🌠
*GOLF COURSES* are the best places I've been to. 😊
Is this the Preseli Mountains? Everyone here in Pembroke go there to find them
Used to be a regular sight were i live in Ireland. fields full of young lads in packs crouched over scanning the grass...the DS were sometimes hiding in the ditch 😂
Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and many, many more all arrived ready to go after the introduction of mid-Wales water in Birmingham in the 60's. The Welsh wanted a new, better kind of music ... the plan worked.... mushy water did the trick.
Welsh Gold .....
I used to love picking and endulging.it's something I have been considering again, but I don't live near where I used to pick so I'm shit out of luck .Not many fields in plymouth.
Just grow some at home then
Plymouth?? You are a few miles away from Dartmoor???
Wavy caps are 10x better than libs and grow in most woodlands or anywhere that has wood chips.
What!? You got 365 sq miles of prime moorland right on your doorstep bro. 😮
I lived in Torquay, and we got loads of them up Dartmoor, had a great time.
Presell Mountain and Caerphilly Mountain are the best areas to find. 😊
First time I took them was with a friend who proceeded to have a breakdown. Crying, paranoia...the lot. That was a very long night.
Use a basket, using a plastic bag makes it so the spores don’t drop on the floor, a basket will let the spores drop wherever you walk
Anyone reckon it’s too late to be picking round Brecon? I’ve just been there and only found like 10. Almost as if they’ve been picked to death already. Was near abergavenny up in the hill. Thousands of mushroom just not Libs.
