Would it be smarter for me to have two Etsy shops, one is my handmade and have a POD separately? I'm new to POD so I just want to be sure, and I saw the question and answer below about if someone buys a POD item and then one that we personally are going to ship.

I am sorry if I missed this and you covered it - but I was wondering if you know what happens if you have some items in your shop you ship personally, and some print on demand - and a customer orders one or more of each. Do they know the things will be shipped separately? Thank you for making this video it was incredibly helpful!
It actually is a little tricky with Etsy. Once one part of the order is fulfilled, it marks it as fully fulfilled. So you need to keep an eye on your orders. (We run into this with our Kingdom of Threads business). On Shopify, it will automatically show it as needing multiple fulfillments which is much easier.
I'm interested in opening a shop. Question, do I need an LLC right away to protect my shop because I'm just starting out? What about taxes that are collected during a sale? Do I need to report those on a 1099, or do I need to start making enough money from the business first
This may be a silly question, but when you are typing in your title for the listing, how do you get the line in between phrases? Is is just a lowercase l or an uppercase I? Is it as simple as that?😂

Star seller is cosmetically appealing. It does not help you show up or rank higher in Etsy. That is an accurate information. It is cosmetically appealing. That’s about its only benefit. Some people claim that it helped them with sales, Etsy states that it does not benefit you in anyway. That is my understanding. It looks pretty. It makes you work a little harder. But it doesn’t help you rank any better. It’s for self gratification.
etsy is supposed to be for handmade, vintage, or supplies. a t-shirt that was printed by a factory with someone else's image and then drop-shipped to a customer is NOT handmade, vintage, or supplies. pod has taken over the site like a plague. thankfully at this point, those shops don't make any money because the market is oversaturated there.
I have been emailing, chatting, calling Etsy back and forth for five days and cannot get a clear definite answer. All I get is unclear info and links to info I don't totally understand. Here are my questions I presented to them. If anyone has any suggestions or anwers please let me know.
1. Can I purchase a SVG design and heat press that design on a t- shirt myself and sell it on Etsy
2. Can I purchase an SVG design, and have Printful place my purchased design on a t shirt for me and sell it on Etsy.
3. Etsy says to list Printiful as an integration using their integration list, problem is when I click on the inegration link they provide, Printrful is not on that list.
Etsy also sent this info that I don't totally understand when it relates to Printful.
"Etsy sellers may use third parties to ship or fulfill their orders as long as these items meet our policies. For example, if you have your original designs printed by a professional printer in a different location, they can mail your customer the order. However, drop shipping ready-made items you've purchased from a supplier to resell would not meet our Handmade policies."
"“Reselling” is selling an item that you, the seller, did not make or design. Etsy's marketplace includes handmade items, vintage items, and craft supplies. Reselling is only allowed in the vintage and craft supplies categories.
