I enjoyed reading the book- a fascinating period in modern history brought to life. I was totally engrossed and quite literally couldn't put it down. An interesting conversation- insightful. After reading the book my interest in the subject was piqued. I was amazed at how few books/documentaries are available on the subject. Try a search on Amazon or You Tube!
Very good watch :)
Part of the Cliveden Set, no doubt.
Manchester United catastrophically crashed in a plane, and we call that Munich, the one and only Munich catastrophe for the UK. Neville Chamberlain was not a soccer manager, he was a statesman, and a good one - see Munich for example, just the ticket - not for Old Trafford, the ticket for solving the problems.
Cambridge-educated, you can tell!
The Munich Agreement was a success. It was Chamberlain's insane decision to form a military pact the UK could not enforce with Poland that led to war.
