I'd suggest you to go for Oneplus without thinking twice.
I have recently purchased Oneplus 12R after being a Samsung user for past 13 years.
I have used Samsung smartphone in almost every price range whether it's Note series or A series or M series.
Let me share some cons of Samsung smartphones :
      1. Very slow charging compared to other company's smartphones. And it gets slower with time too.
A lot of people will say slow charging means good battery backup. That's just something blind samsung fans say. Let's say your samsung smartphone is taking 1 hour 30 minutes to full charge and delivering a screen on time of 9 hours. And on the other hand, other companies' smartphones are giving 7 hours of screen on time after taking 30 minutes to full charge. Which one do you think is better ? I'd say the second one.
      2. Pretty Weak Processor according to price range. I got Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in Oneplus 12R at a price of 40k. And if we take a look at Samsung smartphone in this price range, it's A55. The processor in A55 is Exynos 1480 which is very very very weak processor compared to 8 Gen 2.
      3. Heavy UI. One UI is very heavy. So when you combine a heavy UI and weak processor, the smartphone starts getting slower with time. After 7-8 months, you start realizing this.
      4. Poor Shutter Speed in Camera. In a Samsung smartphone, if you click a picture it takes 5-6 seconds to click the image and move the image to the Gallery App. But if you take any other smartphone whether it's OnePlus, Vivo etc. they capture images and move them to gallery immediately. So if you have to capture images of a fast moving object, you cannot do that easily in Samsung.
      5. Poor Quality In-Display Fingerprint Scanner in Samsung. I don't understand what's the problem with Samsung but they have never used a good Optical Fingerprint Scanner in their smartphones. Samsung's optical in display fingerprint scanner is very slow as compared to other companies' smartphones.
Now let me answer your concerns :
      1. Knox Security : I agree that there is inbuilt Knox Security in Samsung but in daily usage it doesn't matter. In my past usage experience with Samsung, I never experienced anything amazing in terms of security with Samsung. Banking apps are already very secured. Use 2 factor authentication on Social Media Apps and you are good to go. Then what's the use of Knox Security ?
Now let me share my experience with OnePlus 12R till now.
      It's an amazing smartphone.
      1. 5500 mah battery with 100 watt charging. Charges the phone in around 30-35 minutes. Gives Screen on Time of around 7-8 hours which is pretty good.
      2. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Processor is the beast. No lags, no problems. Handles every task smoothly whether it is a game like Call of Duty or a social media app like Instagram.
      3. UI is very fluid and smooth with great animations. I never experienced this type of smoothness in Samsung.
      4. Weight Distribution of Smartphone is amazing. It weighs 207 g but it feels very light.
      5. Fast Shutter Speed in Camera.
      6. Inbuilt App lock to lock the apps.
      7. In-Display Fingerprint Scanner is very very fast.
      8. 1600 Nits HBM Brightness. So very easily visible in direct sunlight.
I can go on and on but what more does a person need ?
If you think Oneplus 12R is a bit costly, you can go with OnePlus Nord 4 too.
Main difference between OnePlus 12R and OnePlus Nord 4 is the Processor.
Nord 4 has Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 which is also a Powerful Processor. Combined with UFS 4.0 , OnePlus Nord 4 will offer amazing performance.
That's my experience and suggestion to you.
If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

      You're welcome.
Yes, I have also heard about this data theft rumour too.
But, honestly, I think no smartphone is secure in today's times. Even iPhones which guarantee amazing security are getting hacked.
So it's better to find a smartphone which is best according to our budget and buy that. It can be of OnePlus, Vivo , IQOO, Nothing, any company.
The only thing is we shouldn't get influenced by these gimmicks of Big Companies like Samsung, Apple that they offer great security, blah.. blah..blah.... They are just selling overpriced smartphones so that they can show profits in company's financial statements.
Always go for smartphones which give us value for the money that we are spending. We should never spend our hard earned money on overpriced smartphones.
And always try to buy a smartphone with a price less than 50k. Never buy a smartphone worth more than 50k.
If you plan to go above 50k, go only if any smartphone is offering a feature which you really want and is essential for your work, business etc.
Otherwise make sure that you keep 50k as the limit.
      That's my advice. 😊
