Add a "step sequencer" plugin. Under "step sequencer controls" change "type" to "color". Adjust colors and assign MIDI keys to the colors. This is only one way - there are others.
@@ivancabrera7582 It comes with it. If you go to the "Workspace Inspector" module, click the "plugins" tab, then click the plus button on the bottom left, you will see an option to add a step sequencer.
@@1brosi there is an intro to VDMX video here on YT and other tutorials are on the VDMX website. Resolume is a popular alternative and is probably maintained more than VDMX but both are very flexible creative tools.

Yes, there is an NDI output plugin module included in VDMX
