Why is that? I live in Australia and i own TE37'S. I must admit i got my TE37SL's painted gloss black because i did not want the polished lip.

@@zigzag7194, actually it doesn't. I did the wheels on my Impala SS the exact same way and did all 4 wheels over a weekend.
How do you protect it after polishing to make it last and not dull out?
Should probably be applying some form of wax

You used 80 grit then 600? There is NO way you could get the sand marks off by skipping all those in between.
