- Nanindigan ang National Task Force on the West Philippine Sea na patuloy silang magsasagawa ng rotation and resupply mission sa kabila ng mararahas na aksyon ng Chinese forces laban sa tropa ng Pilipinas, partikular sa Ayungin Shoal.
Sinabi rin ng task force na pinag-aaralan pa ang mungkahing isapubliko ang schedule ng misyon para disputed waters.

Statement on the Philippine Response to Chinese Naval and Coast Guard Incursions
In light of the recent aggressive actions by the Chinese navy and coast guard within the Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), it is imperative to assert the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of the Philippines. These incursions, often involving warships and militia boats approaching dangerously close to our shores, pose a significant threat to our national security and peace in the region.
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. (PBBM) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will no longer tolerate these blatant violations of international law and our maritime boundaries. The Philippine government stands firm in its commitment to safeguarding our nation's sovereignty and ensuring the security of our territorial waters.
Immediate Actions and Policies
Strengthened Naval Patrols: The Philippine Navy will increase its patrols within the EEZ to monitor and respond to any unauthorized incursions by foreign vessels. This will include the deployment of additional assets to strategic locations to ensure a rapid and effective response.
Clear Warnings and Consequences: Any foreign vessel found trespassing within the 200-nautical-mile EEZ without proper authorization will be issued a clear warning to vacate Philippine waters immediately. Should these warnings be ignored, the Philippine Navy is authorized to take necessary actions to protect our territorial integrity, which may include the use of force if deemed necessary.
Diplomatic Protests: The Department of Foreign Affairs will file formal diplomatic protests against the People's Republic of China for each and every incursion. These actions will be documented and presented to international bodies to garner support and draw attention to these illegal activities.
International Collaboration: The Philippines will seek to strengthen alliances and partnerships with other nations, particularly those in the ASEAN region and our traditional allies, to present a unified front against these aggressive actions. Joint military exercises and increased cooperation on maritime security will be pursued to enhance our defensive capabilities.
Public Communication: The government will maintain transparency with the Filipino people regarding these incursions and the steps being taken to address them. Regular updates will be provided to ensure that the public is informed and reassured of the government's commitment to protecting our national interests.
Message to China
The Republic of the Philippines strongly urges the People's Republic of China to respect international maritime law, including the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), and to cease all unauthorized activities within Philippine waters. We call for peaceful and respectful coexistence, grounded in mutual respect for sovereignty and adherence to established international norms.

President Marcos Jr. and the AFP are resolute in their determination to defend the Philippines from any form of external aggression. We remain open to diplomatic dialogue and peaceful resolution of disputes but will not hesitate to take decisive action to protect our nation.
