The Michael Jackson Auditorium - 24 Years On

- Three years ago today on October 15, 2010 Michael's beautiful name was at last revealed and once again adorned the Auditorium dedicated in his honour 24 years ago. On October 11 1989 he attended the inauguration ceremony at his former Gardner Street Elementary School and it was an incredibly happy day for Michael; he humbly thanked the school and spoke to the students, visited former classrooms and joined the children singing 'We Are The World' before personally unveiling his name above the entrance where it stood tall for the next 14 years.
In 2003 in the wake of Michael's trial The Gardner St School shamefully had his name covered, breaking his heart and causing mass uproar within his devoted fan base. Sadly Michael passed with that pain in his heart, but his fans never relented. In early 2010 all over the world and on Facebook began a massive Campaign to have Michael's name restored and uncovered on the auditorium. School officials admitted they had received a groundswell of requests to uncover his name. The president of the school's P.T.A. said that on parents' night, when the principal approached the subject, all 200 parents assembled were in favour of restoring the sign.
We have put this video together as a thank you to all Michael Jackson fans on Facebook and the world over for their unwavering support. We must never give up, HIS LEGACY LIVES ON THROUGH US ALL.

This whole period in his life, up to the false allegations, was so magical and triumphant for him. He deserved every honor bestowed upon him, and they were numerous and seemed never ending.

Not even the surgery be had affected his gorgeous eyes, athletic physique, broad shoulders, tenacity, sweet voice, bright smile, sexy ass lips and everything else. Even with the messed up nose issues of 2000-2004, he was swagalicious. Glad he fixed that most though. And yes... On top of all this, a beautiful soul ❤️🤴🏾

Man I was there that day at Gardner I was about 10 years old and it was cool to see Michael walking through the hallways hugging teachers. .also I remember a singing group called the "Boys" were there also.. the day was cool.. but if you drive passed there now I believe they tool his name off. anyway he's still cool to me. and those were the days. I'm disappointed. The school in which MJ himself grew up in, was embarrassed by him. This broke his heart, killing him inside, because not even his school which he use to attend backed him up during the trials, it's like they're ashamed of him, which I find really upsetting and disgusting. Who ever came up with the idea to cover Michael Jackson's name on the school auditorium is a bad human-being in my eyes.

Hes not as shy in these vids and didnt get extra shy and very insecure till the pepsi accident where he then ended up with vitilago and once it overtook most of his body he was left with his arms and legs and torso full of brown spots that caused him to always cover them up. People called him a freak cuz his skin was white and everyone thought he lied about his condition. He was telling the truth. People thought he was gay cuz of his voice. So what if he was wtf? But he was heterosexual even had magazines of naked women he kept in a suitcase in his bedroom. His voice is just sweet. And he had a nose and later chin job....AND....? SO all that combined made him a freak? 2 things he couldnt help and the plastic surgery is his choice not ours and even so that wasnt his fault either. He was teased hard about his nose by his dad. So he had a complex and changed it. I think its beautiful. Rumors were being spread saying his nose was hanging because he had too many surgeries. That was a lie. The pepsi commercial is when things turned for him. Thats so damn sad.
