But in "Colors" that conflict didn't make sense because I believe the Mexican gang was based in East LA (or Boyle Heights) , the Crip set in South Central. That's true. Crips & Bloods didn't show up in force in Texas til the late 80's. But the Hoods in Texas were no joke. A lot of people credit L.A Rum & E-Mac for starting the invasion of those gangs coming into Texas
