Your use of that term, "Keeper Of The Flame," is ironic, because that was the title of a movie about the death of a man considered an American patriot and how, in the end, his widow reveals that her husband was really a Fascist, who, among other things, was a supporter of the Ku Klux Klan, which was the subject of this film presented here.

As a northerner, I’ve only encountered the KKK or a member of it twice. Once was on a bicycle tour of Indiana in 1979. The police had the area cordoned off and seeing we were on bikes, gave us a choice of continuing on the designated route right past them, or of adding some 30 miles to our ride. The tour leaders took us right past them out in the field and milling around the vehicles parked on both sides of the road. We were warned not to stop for any reason, not to talk to anyone, not to take pictures. Some of them shouted unrepeatable words and phrases at us. I was shocked to see whole families with the old folks and the kids, like they were at a company picnic or something. Frankly, I was scared. I later heard a biker had had a soda bottle thrown at him, but he didn’t get hurt. I’m not sure, but I don’t think anyone on the tour was Black, but a lot were Jewish, not exactly welcome by the KKK.
In 2015 I encountered North Carolina State Forest campground hosts, a couple in their 70s, who were in the Klan--and apparently proud to tell me about it. Having NY tags on my car, they asked if I was from the city, and proceeded to ask me questions about the n-words. They were particularly opposed to interracial dating and marriage. I think they were testing me to see whether I was acceptable to join them for a cup of coffee at their site. I didn’t stick around to find out, just paid for two nights and was on my way.

I don't agree with you or @phillip6950. If the black people of America were to leave this country and never come back, they would be playing right into the hands of the same racial bigots you rightfully detest so much, because you'll be doing exactly what they have wanted you to do ever since slavery was abolished.
You'll be telling the KKK, the Neo-Nazis, the Aryan Nations, and all the other White Supremacists they have WON, that they can now completely own the entire United States of America and can claim it entirely for the white people.
What's more, it will serve to vindictive their belief that God had intended America to be a "white man's country," without a single non-white person in it, even though this country and continent originally belonged to the "Red man," the original Native Americans, AKA the Indians (who were only called that because Christopher Columbus mistook the so-called "New World" for India). If the bigots of this nation think they can drive the blacks out, they'll probably go after the Indians next, and God knows what other non-white indigenous people they'll persecute next.
So, if you're wise, you'll forget about this insane idea, and stay in America, just to show those racists that they can't push you around!

Not 25 years before the making of this film the Democratic Party held what may have been the biggest Klan gathering in history, and it was held in Madison Square Garden! Absolute, undeniable fact. "White Supremacy" was its motto, because it appealed so broadly to prejudiced Americans regadless of any party-leanings or none. That was central to their recruiting strategy. Because Marxism was racially bigoted from the inception of the movement (Marx, Engels), they might just as well have been true Fascist Socialists. In other words, Radical Socialists could and did unite around a common theme which had been supported by so many non-aligned American citizens who saw the influence of foreigners to be largely negative during this period. Remember, the fact immigration into the USA had been effectively banned for more than 20 years by this time, and would not be reinstated until JFK!

At 57:00 or thereabouts we hear a courageous African American citing Lincoln as the guarantor of the right to vote.

You can be a black Panther, they represent the poor and there's plenty of poor white brother's who suffer oppression from elitist corporate greed, as a matter of fact, George Jackson, Eldredge cleaver formed a coalition with poor white working class when they came south to help with voter drives and recruiting

This movie was silly, racist, and hilarious. Mostly like The Three Stooges on white supremacist steroids. Unfortunately true and still demonstratively valid today in March 2021.
