Hi Natalia Leigh I loved your content I have two questions. I am a writer and I wondering does every chapter have to have conflict? And have you ever heard of reverse outlining? I have done this 😅 I have a character who is fun to write for while my other characters pov is harder. Maybe I would try the reverse outline technique 😁
Hi, Andrew! Thanks for the kind words! Conflict is important, obviously, but not every chapter has to have obvious conflict; what might help is asking yourself, "If I remove this chapter, would it impact the story?" If the answer is no, then that chapter isn't serving a purpose and would benefit from being cut or revised. And yes! I suggest reverse outlining to pantsers once they've finished their first draft. It can be super helpful!
Hi Natalia. I am about to finish my first draft of a fanfiction. Could you do more videos on self-editing and revising to help me and other writers? I publish and write fanfiction since 2015, but I would like to improve in revision and self-editing. I have two beta readers, but I want my second draft to be as good as I can.
