    What is this? A German version of Les Gars de la Marine? I have the French version on a Pathe record, quite rare in the UK!

      Either that, or an early attempt at making a stereo record by cutting two concentric grooves.

      Just creating a sort of echo by playing the record twice with a tiny time interval. Maybe they tought it added realism, which it doesn't really do but oh well ... ^_^ Fun to see.

      By Deutsche Ultraphon Gesellschaft. Double-horn gramophone with 2 soundboxes, 1 soundbox missing, clockwork motor drive, automatic stop function, circular wood case, not working. The gramophone creates a "spatial" sound effect by playing on two pick-ups simultaneously.
