EbonyLife Creative Academy is supported by the Lagos State Government through Lagos State Creative Industries Initiative (LACI), under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. I have watched this 2 times and was in tears just kept coming. I feel so much for Bankole and understand... I was bullied in primary and secondary school. Not just in school, but even at home because I was short and fat. Because I did not look like the normal. One of my brothers even told me that even when i marry he will come help sleep with my wife. It was that bad. I run from them all even up till now.
Thank you Ebonylife for bringing this up. A topic we do not and are not ready to discuss. Funny enough writing this brings relief. Na Man I be!

Wow I never wanted the movie to finish so touching and massage well pass, I remember I have been bullied too when I was in secondary school, so when I got to the university I joined school politics so that I can have confidence and I became the most vibrant and influencial lady in my set

As someone who was bullied in school, idk how to feel about this. You think you’ve let all these things go until you’re put in certain situations and made to think certain thoughts.
Forgiveness is difficult and closure/exposure sometimes doesn’t help. I pray everyone who has been bullied and everyone who did bully finds peace.

Really good. Short but effective. The message is loud and clear. Bullying is a terrible culture, and it's not limited to children. We need to do better. We need to stop tolerating bad behaviour.

Secondly, as someone who’s been bullied before, it sucks. Bullying always has a root and unfortunately it seems to mostly come from home. My hope is parents train their children in a more loving way and men allow men be men. Instead of making them suffer all in the name of “being a man”.
