  • The “blue/s sessions” is a series of short, intimate moments of insight with the artists of Experience 49: BLUE/S occurring every week on ESMoA’s UA-cam channel or blog, the ArtLab Report. These interviews provide arts audiences with additional information and ideas to consider, ponder, and think about before, during and after their gallery visit.
This week Bloom & Plume founder, Maurice Harris, takes us through his process in capturing the multi dimensionality of Blackness through the mixing of photography and flowers, as featured in his pieces: “Soft Hydrangea, Khalif.”, “Full Hydrangea, Khalif.”, "You can’t have my hydrangeas”, and “I see you looking at me, as I look at you looking at me, gently holding the hell out of these hydrangeas.”.
