I always assumed that helen dragged michael in and destroyed him but the idea that they just left the body there... it’s somehow scarier, 1. because that would mean that they could’ve used him for the ballet or 2. something else could get it’s hands on michaels body. I don’t like either.

Helen saying 'and like you im a genius before my crime' and taking over/embracing the mantle of the spiral is just do GOOD i dont this could have been done any better. touch tone telephone is perfect for the spiral, fear of lies and distortions and stuff, and op i just have to say you are positively a genius. also, i absolutely adore the way you draw michael and helen, with the eyes and the tear streaks? the colors???? jon?????? this is perfect in every way ive watched it at least 10 times and i still screamed each time its so good
I love how you draw parallels between M ic ha e l and Jon. at this point, they are the only avatars we've really met that were tricked into becoming. the glowy eyes are so cool and H E L E N looks SO COOL and m i cha e l being sad makes me really upset, so... completely accurate to how I felt during the episode.
Of all the episodes of the magnus archives I listened to? Hearing how Gertrude literally just GAVE Michael to the spiral to be eaten HORRIFIED ME. Especially with how she just smiled and nodded at him and told him to go in, it was alright, with a map in hand and everything. And even when he questioned her slightly he thought “no surely not. There’s a reason for this, she wouldn’t kill me.” And welp. Yeah.
So no idea why but TMA listener have some of the best taste in music and what goes with the show and this one right here is absolutely beautiful you’re amazing and I love you for making this

I've watched this so many times now and I'm so in love!! I always enjoyed Michael and Helen as the distortion when they're on but I sort of missed fully understanding how they "switched" when listening, so not only is this animatic beautifully expressive and entertaining (and mf SLAPS), but it's helped me understand the story better
