Just bought a TB-03 and ❤ for a start lol I've wanted one for years, really like this video 👍 was very interesting and helpful
Yes I didn't know about this that I could change a delay to a verb. No idea at all. I've had the TB03 for almost a year now.. THankssss
I'm going to try these now, thanks for sharing this info. Great video
Thanks for these useful and clearly explained tips! It seems that the 2nd randomise function on A# also adds random accents and slides too btw :)
Very helpful - thanks very much for taking the time to make and post - I learned a few handy tricks. I just wish Roland's manuals were user-friendly, and not printed in a micro-font.
Happy Christmas Nu-Trix. Love the vids, keep ‘em coming Bro 👊🏻
Thanks for the good words. Merry Christmas for you too.
thanks recently I got second hand Roland TB-03 and learning basics but did not know that it is possible to select dist type. Cool :--)
Great tip for the distortion I had no idea haha. Thanks
Thanks for explaining these hidden functions!
Your Channel is excellent and very informative. Thanks!
Thanks
@@Nu-trix Hi there can you help me with a problem I have in getting into the time mode. The light is not on. Could you help me get into the time mode? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
@@sirjellybeans6653 Sorry man, I don't have a TB-03 at hand to test it

Thank you your videos have been very helpful
Happy to be useful !
Nice !! Now I'm buying 1
Great tips. TY.
thank you for that tutorial! 👍🏻
awesome 🙏🏻
Nu Trix You are a dragon!!!
Thanks - Roland should just hire you to do all the Merch Info
They did, for some Roland Cloud videos.
Thank you for this. :) Question... Is it possible to sequence the TB externally like say maybe with the digitakt...with the slides, accents etc? Will it sound the same as if u sequenced it in the actual TB-03?
Very nice! Thanks for sharing. ~Cyberluke
Definitive a Like! And I even do not own a TB-03! ;-)
Can you tell me why does my tb 03 cutoff follows tuning is that problem with me or what??so when i have cutoff to the max it keeps going down to the point where tune knob is standing
fun fun fun
Hi again a very instructive video , thx . do you think i can trigger minilog from TR09 ?
I did sync the TR-09 with a Volca Beats ua-cam.com/video/Af7kVjz4Cyg/v-deo.html. Check it out.
I'm guessing it uses the same type of Korg triggering system.
Im having trouble updating mine.
1st how do I check on tb-03 what version I am running
2dn How do I update it my computer keeps sayig it doesnt see it.
3d No audio coming from 03 when connected to tr-8 , mini out to in and mix out -to external r/l
Thank you
Try with another USB cable
Nice video, thanks! Is there a way to delete a single step?
+Emundula , yes, you just replace it with a silence in step mode.
Hello there, my TB 03 has clicking when sound comes out, especially on the low octave, do you have any ideas why is it?
Hej, how can i programm rest (i mean free empty notes) in the newer programm mode
Sorry I don’t have access to the Tb-03 anymore.
cool
Hi. Do you have any tips on the infamous hum and noise that comes from Roland Boutiques? My SH01A is about manageable whilst my TB03 is almost unusable.
Halo Jones, have you check that all you audio gear is connected to the same electrical outlet. It would be the first rule. In my case I have the SH-01a connected to my Mx-1 using USB (so no noise ) and the 01-A connected using 1/8 jack. But it is powered using USB (plugged in the same electric outlet as the MX-1). Some people are saying the they use this for noise cancellation www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07RK2MHF7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_C4PyEbX214WQK
@@Nu-trix Thanks for the reply. Yeah I've got my computer, speakers plugged into the same electrical outlet. I also tried one of those groundloop isolators with no joy. Best success I've had is with a cheapo USB isolator however you can't use the USB for MIDI. Really don't want to have to use MIDI In and Outs as it just means even more wires! I did have a TR09 which strangely was fine and all my other gear (SE02, System 8 etc) there's no problems. At the point of looking at Behringer gear instead!
thank you! tape delay and reverb are STEREOPHONIC! thats a big thing
J# ?
Do you have vids on the TB-3? I cant seem to find them.
Sorry, I sold my TR-3 before starting my UA-cam Channel.
Perhaps you should mention the 3 modes in the notes and how to access them ?
Disco 3001 , are you taking about step recording mode / live recording mode and playback ?
I'm here for real power tips. I want to know if I can run the tb-03 on a USB powerbank?
Bertin van Vliet , yes it should. ( I don't have access to a TB-03 now). The Roland product specialist stated to me that all boutique except the SE-02 are capable to run of an USB phone battery charger. Basically those running on batteries can also run of a USB powerbank. The SE-02 cannot because of the fact that it is made of a real analogue circuit.
