Snow blower is a very great machine but you need dry snow for it to be effective. I do snow removal when when the plant life goes into hibernation. Bobcat, plough, snowblowers, salt spreader, metal tipped snow shovels. All have their advantages and disadvantages.
You gotta be careful when you do it at home. Grandma has ocd about cleaning and couldn’t wait for me to finish my contracts and started shovelling snow at 1pm, I was going to be there at 1:45. In that time she fell and broke her leg! Very brutal I felt terrible. Be safe out there
