Those are truly amazing world class short turns! Absolute top level demonstration! I have been following your career for a long time and your influence on the global ski instructor community is outstanding. You technical demonstrations has defined the top-level for decades. I have the biggest respect for your work. Thanks for sharing your knowledge here on UA-cam. /Janus

Thanks Richi. Could you please discuss edge pressure and also fore aft actions?

Big fan but I do not quite grasp the gist of this one. What is different in the way you suggest edging works?

Me too, the distinction between his edging and angulation videos is unclear.

@@Benzknees I think what he is suggesting is that projecting the skis away from the body and applying pressure creates the edge angle rather than creating it by rolling the ankle and knee inside

@@CultivatingAdvice I can relate to that… makes perfect sense.

@@CultivatingAdvice - Okay I perhaps see that’s what he might have meant. But if he was suggesting just pushing out the feet (& straighten/stretching the legs) he’d end up banking. Whereas the video seems to show him angulating the lower body (& therefore ski edges) under the (straighter) upper body.
