Dekyi Tsering (2018) - Hello, Delek Saam (TIbetan Lyrics Video)
This song is totally underrated. I had this on repeat for over an hour, can’t get enough.
This song is gold! We need to support the Tibetan Artists. They need more recognition. Thank you for upload!
2020 got paused so I came back to listen to Dekyi Tsering.

Can someone translate the lyrics to English so that we can understand the meaning.
douchen Tibetan font will be much better since it will be easier to read the lyric.
can someone pls translate it into english? thank you
Learn tibetan language.
@@taidelek9994 Excellent point, as it is a language worth learning; however, I am 77 years old. At this time of my life, seeing an English translation will at least give me an understanding of the feelings contained in this wonderful song. Regardless, I will continue to appreciate the beauty of Tibetan music, musicians, singers, and composers. Best wishes to you all.
@@SunshineSusan45410 The original commenter has a Tibetan name hence the comment. “Learn Tibetan” doesn’t apply to NON-TIBETANS which you are one. Thanks for appreciating Tibetan music 🙏 Once I am done with my uni finals, I’ll try to write a rough translation.
@@Bzdm0 Thank you for your reply❤️
I would be most grateful for any translation. While, at my age, learning a new language is beyond me; patience is one of my best qualities. :-)

Hello
How’s it going?
Where are you at now, dear(one near to my heart)?
Hello
How is it going?
It’s been exactly a year since I (last) saw you
Now I don’t have much to talk about
You yourself have contributed to this separation
From now all my (the singer uses the word སྙིང་གཏམ/nying-tam which translates to heart talk or to put it differently the thoughts that you have in your heart) heartfelt thoughts won’t be shared with you
Sometimes, times come where we reminisce(the past)
The past months and years is called life.
The story that we went through together is called fate
Just like the summer months the desire was for it (their relationship) to be perpetual but it was impermanent
Whatever beautiful and loved there was (between them), it was temporary just like a rainbow in the sky
I sing this newly composed song in the car
Reminiscing the past months and years
My hand extended from window with a heavy heart
My gaze set on our prospect (together)
This is the distant hope that stays (if I directly translate what the singer sang he said “this is our distance of hope” which didn’t make much sense to me so I wrote my interpretation of the line)
Black clouds, Red lightening, on top of that rainbow, and everything that could exist is here
This is the distance that we search for
Joy, happiness, on top of that impermanence and everything that could exist is here.
Our situation has become tighter
Don’t cry no tear for us being in this situation
We all have been through this
We are all each other’s guests
I have no thoughts to put forward
We were destined to be (end) unconcluded from the start (the direct translation of the line the singer actually sang is “from the start we couldn’t bring anything”. Again I put my interpretation that I thought would be most apt)
Note: The lyrics pretty much repeat after this point. This translation is very rough and not perfect. I hope this helped you and sorry for taking so long.
