I think these phone companies should continue updating their old devices.
They are literally creating loads of E-waste by making older phones obsolete.
My S7 is still running, shame this hasn't has a security update since 2020 😑

This doesn’t solve issue for operating software. In my case was a security patch done 2020 and I get a message my software is up to date . It’s not says it’s version 9 . So there is a difference between updating software and security updates apparently . Any other way to update operating software not security updates
