Love the behind the scenes content. I would love more, even on old tracks.
On the day I started a new job in a kitchen, Spoon dropped two BANGERS. I've played them on the walk to and from and once a day in the kitchen. everyone digs this shit. Spoon has been rocking my world for decades. Love these guys.
0:36 A great great pop song that has no [crash or ride] cymbals: One Headlight by The Wallflowers.
Took me a couple decades to notice that!
Also see pretty much all of gagagagaga.
These guys are real rock n rollers and should be tops on the induction to the rnr hall of fucking fame bullshit.
agreed... was grateful to grow up with spoon in Austin. best sound and vibe ever.
Thanks Guys keep up the good work. Much love. The Underdog: most complicated song in the world. Love it.
Come on, guys each of y’all are such individual treats, yes… but it’s when you come together in the Spirit of Music to express creation. Don’t over think it, I imagine it feels different being a band during this time, but trust that y’all’s music is a guiding light for so many. I honor all of you☺️❤️😘
Love these videos explaining. So interesting!
Such an amazing song, makes me SO excited for LOTS!
Love this! Thank you and please come back to Los Angeles. Missed the last one as I had just moved back.
These guys are just fucking brilliant. Everything on Girls Can Tell and Kill the Moonlight are like the theme albums of college for me. So many amazing albums since then too.
Just had a dream there was some party I was rushing to get to that Spoon happened to be playing at - I showed up, but they were pretty much done. What a letdown.
tragic, I would have woken up sweating
These guys are so rad. Put on a great show at bottlerock, I was lucky to be paging cable for the stage left cameraman so I had a pretty great view. Such great performers and they seem to really enjoy what they do which is really cool.
one person HATES rock'n'roll lol. Love hearing the stories behind the music! rock on!
Jim is great
record that talk-back, Jim
finally
4:59 Supergrass debut album has a couple of these moments too. No rhythm guitar on the solos.
I love how it's Britt and Jim and the dude who "doesn't get it" is entirely shut down. If he doesn't want to be a part of the vision, he shouldn't be a part of the band. The Front Man is named Britt Daniel. Get with the program, whiner. You said you were down with a Texas sounding record, didn't you?
