Something else of note; in Superman: The Black Ring (which, despite its name, is a story with Lex Luthor as a villain protagonist), Larfleeze gets a glimpse of what Luthor's true goal is and what Lex truly wants, and Larfleeze is HORRIFIED, saying out loud that this is something he DOES NOT WANT. He's the embodiment of Greed, and THIS is the one thing he has EVER seen that he does not want. And once he realizes this, he actually finds it kind of funny. Still, it says a lot about the type of man Luthor is.
@@BoosterGoldest Luthor went from the orange to wanting a black ring, I think or at least the black ring was involved. Luthor saw the black lantern ring more powerful than the other rings.
@@BoosterGoldest The reader doesn't see it - it's one of those "take my word for it" things. The story itself goes from Action Comics # 890 through # 900, check it out, it's definitely a good read. (Particularly the third and fourth chapters where Death of the Endless shows up; anything with her is pretty good.)
the green lantern animated series gave a lantern light spectrum a good coverage introduction of the red, orange blue, yellow I think, sapphire, but not the black or white lantern Corp
Great video I love this character I really think it would work well on a live-action setting like the lanterns TV show having a villain with a motivation such as greed and not just being evil
Green Lantern Universe is Sooo Cool and Full of Great Potential .... DC can Make a Whole Green Lantern Movies Series , There is No Ending on How Many Movies They can Make (only Imagination is The Limit) ... Green Lantern Universe is Soo Soo Soo Big with Never Ending Stories I can Guarantee You that It will Become One of The Greatest Hit Just Like Marvel ... I Wholeheartedly Wish that Soon DC should Notice Green Lantern Universe Capability/Potential and Start Making Movies 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 😌
Good? Bad? He's a greedy b######...he'd probably be a candidate for Injustice 3, as he's unaccounted for. The potential wielder of the Orange Light needed to be someone greedy to begin, which is then amplified to a huge degree. The Orange Lantern had Ophidian the Tempter, the entity of avarice. | 10:45 - He gave him back as he didn't want him. | 15:10 - Well...John Stewart achieved that, but it took some exceptional circumstances, involving the Ultraviolet light.
@@NotALiberalSoSkipTheScript Although Larfleeze will more likely ignore you, unless you have something he wants or you try to take something that he has. He's not one that has a master plan usually as avarice erodes willpower.
*dude is so OP and has one of the coolest designs hes like a baboon on radiation mutation and steroids... *and a pinch of cocaine.... hes one of the most coolest dont eff with me charecters ever......
Fav DC character also larfleeze isnt a greedy person by himself, it was shown everytime he lost the ring he never wanted it back but it forces itself onto him
What bothered me is many of the stories Larfleeze is in he is portrayed as more comic relief even with the considerable power he wields. Why didn't you cover the mini series they had verbally since you had the images in the background? It was the only series which had several living orange lanterns and I think even a slight love interest for Larfleeze. You could also have covered the GL:TAS version of Larfleeze and the effect of the battery on Jordan. The only problem with that story is they never went into detail why Larfleeze fought against the Red Lanterns years before.
Hey, Marvel has often done the same thing with Ego the Living Planet, even though other stories (mostly the ones actually written by Jack Kirby) make him more dangerous than Galactus.
I think Larfleeze gets the "most powerful lantern" because he doesn't share his power with anyone willingly. Blue Lantern power is split between the dozen or so blue lanterns. White's challenge is how it is charged which Kyle had to learn the hard way.

Hell yes! Thank you! This is my favorite lantern. Awesome video.
I really Hope They make a Green lantern Television live action series with These Other Characters in it!😉
the green lantern animated series gave a lantern light spectrum a good coverage introduction of the red, orange blue, yellow I think, sapphire, but not the black or white lantern Corp
@@scottmahoney1230 it lacked the yellow lantern core if I'm not mistaken

Love agent orange. Op AF and hilarious.
With a name like that I wasn't expecting him to be such a deep character. I thought he'd be a complete joke character
Another great video hope to see more
One the most memorable(imo) and mostly favorite lantern.
The last single lantern I'd ever want to fuck with is the Larf.

He was savage when he was first introduce. Not so much now. But still OP.
All these new rings. I remember only the green n yellow from Super Friends. 😆
They're only new to you, they've been around for awhile.
Now there’s gold lanterns
Don't forget that time he robbed all the all-you-can-eat buffets he could find
Lol if that's true..or not.. I believe a side story of him doing that

Extreme greed for its own sake is evil.

I love his story. It's very deep.
Was wondering if maybe next you could do Kryb? Considered by many as the darkest non-Batman villain in DC Comics.
If there's ever a new injustice game, Larfleeze should be in it.
I'm still waiting on a Scarecrow origin. This was interesting though. :)
My favorite latern creed. What's mine is mine is mine is mine is mine is mine... Not yours lol
If I recall correctly, it was also the last one to be officially revealed.

thumbs up if you've honestly never heard or read the word "avarice" outside of DC Larfleeze
It's devise to devise a plan demise means you're downfall or to die

probably this together with the red color would be the color I would like to have if I were a lantern in dc
Finished rewatching the GL animated series he came up in the end of the show
..nice Larfleeze is the only & entire orange lantern core
The strongest thing in lanterns corps
Love this guy!

He's got Geshpilkas in his G'nictacazoink!
*ponders what would happen if batman had all the rings*
They werent guardians. They were Collectors
I thought the white and blue lantern corps were the strongest
