There are quite a few of these 'ghost cities' of luxury homes dotted around China ... it's so haunting when you take us around some of these places and really appreciated! I did read that there are millions of homes left empty. Apparently for quite a few years the government encouraged large-scale developments. But population issues, of course Covid too ... and some say there was corruption also ...and concerns they were unaffordable meant there were many more of these homes than people wanted or could afford to buy... some firms collapsed and others were clamped down by the government. It's very sad but I saw also quite a few were going back to nature and being used by local farmers for grazing and shelter! Great video young explorer!

没有卖不了的房地产，价格没谈拢而已，这种房子可不是给穷人住的，开发商可能遇到了麻烦所以暂停了施工售卖

如果我是用家！首次考慮交通是否便利。再考慮週邊環境。最後才考慮房屋的質量。一個獨立社區越清幽，即代表位置偏僻。道路及其他設施！大部份都是由社區負責。管理費會很高。其次便是安全，美國加州及西班牙都有這些獨立社區豪宅。當時很多人未考慮過山火。每次發生不知吞噬了多少房屋。亦造成不少嚴重傷亡。這社區在高空 俯瞰是建在一山崗之上。四面樹林包圍。衹要任何一處發生火警。很快便波及山頂。那就要看重慶的氣候了。最後是質量，私人與公家差別很大。私人大多衹有信譽。實際沒多大監管。判上判再加山高黃帝遠！要求有好質量？有點痴心妄想。光是運輸成本已經很重。所以能輕則輕，能減則减。為何超級富豪可以！就是他們個人獨自都可以負擔得起。這樣的集體社區？頂多是社會中高層。但以他們的收入怎能對抗以上的問題？

日本のUA-camでも、限界集落、限界ニュータウンが人気です。荒廃した別荘地もたくさんありますが、温泉付の古いリゾートマンションは安く手に入るのでお年寄りが沢山住んでたりします。

如果是在周圍是山，看不到城區的地方，就是很蠢的建造方案了...不過，這地點下方就是城區，並不會太荒郊野外，是可行的...但也越需要是一級城市才具吸引力（寸土寸金.退而求其次；返樸歸真.鄉野寧靜.空氣清新）！看這下方城區規模，三級城市都不是，且像是遠方舊（主）城區擴展開發出的新城區，根本不飽和熱鬧...如果是在主城跟新城中間那綠帶就有吸引力，在這就離主城太遠了。至少起碼要20年後新區發展起來再蓋，應該就合適了...
加上最重要的是，這房價肯定不低，打死一堆買不起的。而買得起的，卻不見得肯來這...
三四十年後就升值了，房子不是主要的價值，主要是山頂地段太好了，只是城市化還沒發展起來，周圍也是光禿禿的，關鍵是這地值錢。
那未必，内陆小县城没有工业产业支撑的话很难起来的。。像我老家福建这边还好，有产业支撑，也是小县城四面环山，跟这俯瞰新城区规划的很像，楼盘都卖光了，价格还不低呢。

Der Verfall schreitet schon voran, die Feuchtigkeitsschäden sind schwerwiegend. Ob das noch einmal saniert und fertiggestellt wird? Man kann es dem Objekt nur wünschen.
The houses looks charming from the outside. But when you show the planning of the inside I think it is bad. Stairs and corridors, no feeling of a "middle". Small rooms. Like being in a boat. Maybe the architecture is part of why nobody want to live there?

Here in my Netherlands (population 17 million) there is a dire housing shortage (about 1 million extra houses are needed).
Mostly due to stringent environmental legislation there is no room to built them.
Maybe we could move some of the unhoused Dutch to those abandoned Chinese neighborhoods? I'd volunteer!

I think the developer went bankrupt or they did not have the necessary papers to build them, as do most early batch of properties in China.
