What a summary! I like it .. This make me proud to be a civil engineering student.
As a 3rd year civil engineering student, this video makes me smile every time I watch this video.
This is such a great video. Very concise and informative. Thank you
Your video is so inspiring. I'm so proud of my profession. #StructuralEngineer
What a wonderful summary. It has given me the drive to speed up my becoming of a structural engineer.
I am aspiring to one day become a structural engineeri, thanks for all the information
Hello, Please continue to post such informative and creative videos. Therefore, people like us will be motivated and learn in real life.
Im a structure engineer and i proud of it.
Probably should have watched this before going to my work experience interview at a structural engineering firm, they allowed me in thank god but I would have definitely come across better with this
Thanks for the video, really inspiring. motivating me to take a masters thesis in it
Great video.
very interesting video
WOW.. It made me so proud of what I do.

Hello I am a civil engineer I am planning to do my master degree in structural engineering is there is any chance that we can communicate I have a couple of questions
This is apt! I love my profession and I bleed structural designs. This is more the reason I will give people more desired knowledge about my profession even here on youtube as much as possible...
I'm in Construction I want to up grad myself can I be able to do a course of Structural engineering
@@cleverwapi4499 Of course yes,as long as you have background in Civil/ structural engineering. I tutor people on that too
I am proud to be One.
I'm 15 and looking at jobs, I'm very interested in maths and like practical things and building exercises in class which contain some aspects of structural engineering, any recommendations on further information about the profession as a whole or pathways to enter the profession would be much appreciated. Thanks
I just read the comment and I am in the exact same position. Have you found any interesting job for you?
I have many years of experience in civil engineering and most of them in structural engineering , but also I was involved with mega tunnel projects. Structural engineer is in my opinion the best profession in the world if you like innovation, phyrics , mathematics , programming , analytical thinking and in general science. In order to become a structural engineer you need to study firstly civil engineering however there are structural engineers for planes that studied aeronautical engineering and there are structural engineers working for aerostructures with civil background without any limitations. You will learn to mathematicaly interprete a broad range of physical phenomena in detail how they react with a structure, some limited examples I will mention waves to a port , wind to a skyscraper , stresses in a suspention bridge or a dam. But most importantly you must understand that structural engineering is a technological profession and technology is developing perpetually. if you become a great structural engineer will learn TO LEARN on your own and you will be researching and finding solutions that are not found yet for buildings taller that the existing ones and bridges that are longer than the current ones.
manos -thanks for taking the time to give me such thorough advice. I’m starting a masters degree in physics this autumn as I was so excited to learn more after studying it at A-level
@@manosxa Do you believe engineering is still worth entering in the next 5+ years? My dad does not suggest it to me as jobs are becoming scarce. He says that you probably should not be working for others, and therefore own your own business. Also do structural engineers travel often?, as I am particularly interested in that.
Very cool, I wonder what core subject I have to improve to drive towards becoming a structural engineers
What r study topics during Masters in Structural?. Ans me soon
Hi, How u make these animation.please say how.Using which software. Video is so good.
i was going to like the vid but i think i already liked it before
This is what I wanna become
Guys, I'm in a huge dilemma right now. Help me out here. So I just got into University of Waterloo, Canada's best engineering school, and top 50 engineering schools in the world, for Civil Engineering. I also got into Queen's University, not as well known (but 6th best in Canada for engineering) for Computer Engineering. I like coding, but I like the aspect of Civil Engineering as well. I want to start up my company while in Uni or afterwards. What's the entrepreneurship opportunities in Civil Engineering (is there any??). I know with software engineering (specialized branch of Computer engineering), I can make apps, websites (which is what I do now), software, and essentially work for myself, but what about Civil? Thanks
Can I do a course of structural engineering
How about architectural engineering? Is it still a branch of Civil engineering?
Hello, I am a website creator working for an engineer company in Korea. Your video is suitable for homepage creation, so I would like to get permission to use it.
I would like to ask if it is possible?
Correct
Are structural engineers and civil engineers the same??(rip my english)
Hey, can I use this video for a homework?
so do they actually build the buildings or just design them?
They are not building or designing. They are calculating on for example how much wind power a tower is withstanding
Michael scofield hoorayy😂
Thank you, Sir..
My need some Structure Engineering Book.. please sent me
Who got told to do watch this for class
plot twist: what applications are used to produce videos like this??
plot twist: People can live without those applications..but..can they live without structural engineers??
Proof: go a thousand years back

There is no specificity in the video, he was only saying problem solving, good structures, early check etc etc generalized terms, useless video and in the end they have promoted their things!!
STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS ARE MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY. THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES ARE VERY CRUCIAL. BUT THEY ARE POORLY PAID AND MOST NEGLECTED UNDERDOGS IN THE INDUSTRY. THIS IS AN UNFORTUNATE FACT. SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE TO MITIGATE THIS INJUSTICE.
Structural Engineering is a trap to make you do all the work for the architect and they get all the credit.
Don't be a structural engineer. I've warned you!
If you are able, please tell me where your warnings are coming from. I am in undergrad majoring in civil engineering and I am starting to grow more and more shaky about being a structural engineer...
Michael Scofield was here.
Quality Memes ha ha 😂😂
The reason why I love structural engineering
Michael is the inspiration
now I am studying Civil Engineering
how is it?
