    Looks like a nice place! We are missing the west this year. I guess they didn't allow dogs on those trails. Sorry we missed your call last week. We will try again soon! Take care!

    Finally! I watch You Tube on a 50" TV and for months now there has been no "Tipsy Marlin Travels." I have been subscribed forever but I get no notifications. (????) Some how I went through a different portal tonight and there you are--what a wonderful feeling. I love your videos. The colors just seem to be more vivid than others--your edits are great. In 1993 I toured the US of A on my Kawaski Vulcan--over 6000 miles. I spent one night, and day, in St. George, Utah, and one of my biggest regrets is not relocating there for my home. When I completed that trip I gave my Vulcan, and Honda SS away. Had my fill of riding. Started on a Sears Mo-Ped in 1955. OK, now I will watch the video and try to catch up on all those I have missed.

      Thank you so much for watching and looking for our videos! Yes, St. George would be a fantastic place to live. It's so beautiful there. If you traveled the US on a Vulcan, you (hopefully) are going to love what we have coming up over the next year or so. Spoiler alert: we have motorcycles!

    Enjoyed! We just bought electric bikes and look forward to using them. Have around our town, but worry about crazy people hitting us. Going full time in our class A next month or so. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the ride! Enjoy your videos alot.

    Bubba, next time you guys run Utah bring your 🦌 rifle. It has some of the biggest Mule deer and Rocky Mountain big horn sheep. Used to hunt down there when I was a kid growing up on the farm.

    couple questions first do you need a cdl for the truck and second do you have to stop in the weight stations

    • @TipsyMarlinTravels
      @TipsyMarlinTravels  2 роки тому

      The short answer is no and no. Licensing depends on the laws of your state of residence. For us, we're domiciled in South Dakota which has no special licensing as long as the truck is private and not commercially used.

    Other drivers must get pretty angry when you "traffic control" both lanes like that leading up to the lane closure. I do the same thing if I can. Otherwise cars zip by in the closed lane and then cut in right by the closure and the people in the non closed lane wait 3x as long.

    • @TipsyMarlinTravels
      @TipsyMarlinTravels  2 роки тому +1

      Yep, that's exactly what was happening there. Someone was trying to run up the shoulder so the green semi just eased over a bit and blocked it. With the road construction, no one was going to get anywhere anyways. Besides, irritating an obnoxious driver is always good fun. 😉😁

      @@TipsyMarlinTravels I've been there, done that. Little cars always want to speed to the front of the cut in line and then cut off trucks pulling trailers. Really frustrating. It's like they think they are privileged or something. Any fool can drive to the front of that line and cut in. All that does is slow everyone down.
