He still can since he's only played 3 Competitive Games for Ireland. However the FA & Southgate need to try & convince him ASAP.
Otherwise, you're right in thinking that he wouldn't ever play in a World Cup. Especially when there is no United Ireland team in place...
I’m fairly sure we can still qualify either through the Nations League or if we finish 3rd in the group through playoffs but we haven’t a hope with Kenny still in charge
what you expect they use uefa nations league seeding for the pots which means ireland was screwed from the start
You thought 🇮🇪 Ireland was bad, the Euro 2024 host 🇩🇪 Germany is even worse, they are winless every single friendly game in 2023 (and have only won one game against 🇵🇪 Peru and draw aganist 🇺🇦 Ukraine) for which caused Champion League winning coach Hansi Flick to be sacked.
Him butchering Omobamidele was gold🤣🤣🤣
International football is becoming less relevent
Let’s be honest, Ireland’s cricket team is better than their football team.
Maybe we need a manager who has a bigger honour than once qualifying to the europa league with Dundalk about 8 years ago.
No Irish club has ever qualified for the Champions League. Irish football is rubbish. In the past, they relied on the English leagues to develop their players. Those clubs now have academies and they source players from all over the world. Evan Ferguson looks useful, but he was developed at Brighton.
Ireland deserves so much more than this
I am absolutely gutted
Ireland have never been the same as Scotland in football though Irish Guy, don't feel too bad, maybe you'll get better
We need to get rid of the level of arrogance where we seem to think we’re just entitled to beat the likes of Greece when most of their players would walk into our team now. And bringing up Albania is a bad shout they’d absolutely destroy us they could field an entire team of quality serie a players. We can only field a team of average championship players
As a Norwich fan, we called him big andy. Just easy to pronounce 😂
Injuries and our group has gone against us this campaign hopefully we can make the qualifiers in March

Don't worry man, not only Ireland embarassed themselves. Greetings from Poland sitting second to last in their group, 2 points below Moldova and struggling against menace called Faroe Islands.🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱
You spelled out the reason Irish guy.....soccer is the 3rd most played game in Ireland from a population around the same as greater Manchester
As a Scotland and Dunfermline Athletic supporter this video got me rolling on the floor.😂
I’m 18 and I the never seen my country play in a tournament. Count yourself lucky
Still waiting for the Irish guy turns into the English guy
I just want to say... Ha ha ha
From England
Malta, a stone in the Atlantic ocean. Apparently geography was not IG's strongest subject at school 😂😂😂
4:46 that squeak 😂
As if Lee Carsley would make a difference managing Ireland. We're at a stage that even if Guardiola, Klopp or Anchelotti managed Ireland, we still wouldn't have much hope of qualifying for any major tournament because quite frankly Ireland are Worse than Leeds.
You can't really expect to win them all, like Scotland and Wales it wouldn't be realistic to think that the Republic of Ireland will qualify for every international tournament by which I obviously mean the Euros and the World Cup.
Whereas it's often nice to see the Irish participating at these events, like Scotland and Wales they will go through peaks and troughs in otherwords times where their squad isn't perhaps as strong as it used to be but Ireland's time will come again (not exactly sure when, but they will have a good squad again sometime).
Wales time will also come again. The Welsh had a bit of a Golden Generation thing on the go there for a while, players like Bale, Ramsay, Williams and Robson-Kanu but they too are going through a trough right now.
wanna fancy a friendly between Ireland and Indonesia? you get a winnable game and we get a strong opponent to test our skills
Next video: hello I'm not the Irish guy 😂
You love to see it
They were in a group with France and Holland, it was only gonna go one way 😂😂
Who was in atendance, the pope and his nun xD lit
