I grew up on the Bloomfield and left 40 odd years ago after high school to move to the U.S. Your videos take me back to my time as a young fella, roaming around catching barras without a care in the world..hell, we didn't even have to worry about crocs back then. Thanks from an old timer

Ehh, I'd put the US fishery up against any other fishery on the planet mate.
Yeah, the bass only get to 10 kilos, but that's freshwater. We have 500kilo sturgeon and 300kilo gar and 100kilo catfish to make up for it in fresh.
I've yet to see a 100kilo+ tarpon caught in Oz 🙂
