This reminds me of our own story when the drone lost the signal in Tenerife.. The Signal was down as well as live view. We thought it was over... We started to run towards it and the signal came back after 5min. It was flying back with auto-pilot help.
Your story inspires us to never give up, going through snowy and windy weather like in life with help of your close friends and at the end reaching the goal!

This sort of thing sometimes makes me wonder if its practical to get an airtag on your drone somewhere, itd get you real close to knowing where it was. Might be easier for finding it.
I was thinking the same thing. Airtags might be a great solution!
@@FrancoAnelli1 That will only work if there are iPhones nearby. FWIW Rotor Riot did a video on it, intentionally losing a drone with an Airtag on it in a bando and went searching for it.

I had pretty similar incident with a Freewell magnetic filter, lost it in a muddy trail and decided to do it and go the harsh trail back! I found it and I totally get that feeling!

Hey buddy I fly the DJI FPV as well but the go pro is EASY TO HEAVY for this drone . I've been using the ACTION 2. Much MUCH lighter and the drone flies so much better with that camera. Not to mention you have wide and extra wide mode on the action 2..

Looking at the video just 2:15 in...Looks like you def. lost connection as soon as you went over that ridge-line. Thinking as long as you've got those GPS coordinates...you've got a good chance at recovery (but probably a small window depending on the weather). I'm still watching but I have confidence in you guys! If it makes you feel any better...I once lost 2 FPV's in one day! 🤯🤯😂😂

Just casually climbed up the steepest mountain I've ever seen haha. All I could think about how tiring it must've been to keep that camera out for content while climbing that bad boy.
