I got a huge stack from a show when I bought a collection. But a lot was also from discord and eBay. And also Instagram so really any platform
Psa doesn't care much about centering??? I guess my last 8 orders missed that memo
@@paulbuker9596 from what I’ve seen grading over 250 cards psa cares more about surface than anything else. The card can be slightly OC and if anything is good it’ll still 10. If it’s complexly OC that’s a different story.

Do you grade any 1990 cards? or are they just too hard to find without scratches? Ive gotten some rare refractors over the year, lil hairlines here and there, w perfect corners/edges, but i think PSA scores harder on older cards right? cus of value of rarities i would assume. i wonder.

@@coltoncyr2283 I don’t really, not my niche, I do some Kobe Jordan TMAC mostly hoops for vintage. It is very hard to find clean copies because if they’re clean they’re already graded and psa grades vintage tuff to keep the pop low
@@jdssportscards im just more curious on the grading structure and criteria. (I do QC for my job, so that makes me wonder).
Like hypothetically, if a 1995 card had perfect edges/corner/centering, but had a hairline scratch, how many points are deducted. and same w bad edges or bad corners.
To me it seems surface quality is the biggest area of focus. In general ive seen 9s that look like 10s, and ive seen cards w fat print lines get 9s, and i would assume it to be a 7 or 8, just because the art is ruined, IMO.
@@coltoncyr2283 oh dude grading is a roll of the dice. I’ve had cards come back a 3, cracked them and resubmitted and got a 9. Makes zero sense.
@@jdssportscards LMAO thats crazy!! Almost all my cards i have are keepers but if i had to sell them in 10 years for $$, thats why im leaning to not grade my oldies, incase i get 6s and such.
Well, if you ever bought a product from us, our QC wouldn't eff with customers like that. (in theory of how good our QC is, you wont buy our stuff, its for industrial PUMPS lol), and i QC our drafting team, not the final product so i make sure it'll fit before its machined. Stressful job but it pays!!
