Maybe 30 years ago I was at the shrine for divine mercy week end. It had rained so much the place was very muddy. I was with a veteran in a wheelchair. Bob took care of getting him around. He told us about his wife and son. Probably more than 30 years ago.
I've got to say buddy it's easy for me to find fault with the many religious programs I try to temper and nurture my spirit with, but you're the real deal. I cannot stress enough the need for recognition of that in this day and age. you're the best thing going for us and im not the only one who thinks so. hope to talk in person some day soon, but I did find a priest locally who is helping me go thru the steps necessary to eventually receive the sacraments and im just grateful to receive the blessing of your humble and noble voice in a time when we need to be sure of our guidances surety of grace bestowed. talk soon bro
I am from Poland 🇵🇱 ups and downs but never lost hope and always ready to fight for justice ❤🙏Blessed Mother of Częstochowa and Jesus Christ!…we always surrender to them so please 🙏 learn from us and those countries who trust in one and only God Jesus Christ
This episode on Living Divine Mercy - The Crusades, enlightened everyone and acquired knowledge about what we didn’t know before and why we needed to know it. Fr. Chris, as always, my heartfelt thanks for all your untiring work in helping us understand our faith and the truth. It needs a childlike heart to embrace it all with humility and simplicity. Thanks to the beautiful story of conversion and healing shared in today’s presentation. The family’s journey to Poland wasn’t easy, but with firm determination, faith and hope, St. Faustina interceded for the cure of the wife and son, and strengthened the faith of the whole family. The amazing experience of God’s love and mercy is deeply felt in each one’s mind, heart and soul. Glory and praise to God forever!
What a moving testimony & what a blessed spouse in faith & trust 🙏. So blessed that you & your son received healing 🙏 What a story 🙏 ❤️ I find the statue's very inspirational at the Marians, thank you for the history of St. Augustine 🙏 Beautiful prayer 🙏
Thank Fr Chris for the concise history of the Crusades. I have several Crusaders in my Protestant father's paternal family line, including a Deacon named Visconti living in France who apparently was recalled from the Crusades in Jerusalem as he was elected Pope. After he was ordained to the Priesthood, he became Pope Gregory X, a Blessed. Your story about Bob and Maureen was interesting as Maureen was a real "pistol," and her husband Bob, the faithful marine. was touching. The humble Sr. Faustina heard the begrudged Maureen's prayer and intervened and granted her and son a great degree of healing. Good history of St Augustine and the perseverance of mom, Monica, both cherished Saints.
Praying for your daughters, and for my daughter as well. Mother Mary you knew the pain of losing your Son. Pray for our daughters to know your Son, the Truth, to be loved back into the faith. Jesus, Have mercy on us, and on the whole world.
as a Catholic, I am proud of the Crusades. Jesus said there is no greater love than to lay one's life for one's friends.. Crusaders did exactly this. they loved their neighbor by protecting them from anti christian evil Islam, basically protecting western civilization allowing it to develop to what it is today.
The problem is, there are groups of pagans that are using our Holy Orders' insignias to promote their own agenda. Many of them are not even Catholic or baptized Catholic but rejected the teachings of the Catholic Church. We fight people because they're evil, we protect them because they're innocent based on the Catholic social justice teachings be they in Europe or overseas and would die in honor for that mission. We are not pagans nor Prußian Protestant Kaiser or NS who love Islam and secularism, therefore tolerating brutal pagan practices while claiming themselves Christian. Just read and hear all their writings and testimonies. You can ask Fr Chris for clarification. While all accounts of Pope Urban II even from different sources are pointing out to "the religion of peace" army and nothing about brutalizing anyone outside the target. God bless you! ✝️🇻🇦
Thank you, Fr. Chris, for explaining this. I have family members who use this against our faith, I know they are being told or watching a certain documentary without going any further to research if what they were told the whole story or the truth or what they watched.
Blessed Pope Urban II is in heaven, canonized by Pope Leo X. Sanctus Urbanus Secundus ora pro nobis 🙏🏻💜✝️🇻🇦 Yes pray for the rest who haven't make it to heaven.

Fr.Chris Olar I am 75 years old and very inspired by your speech you have shaken me to the core. Wonderful Sis. Foustina has inspired me even though i am a useless person. Thank you. You have shot me between the eyes.
Thank you so much to Maureen and Bob Digan for sharing your incredible story of Maureen ‘s and your son’s miraculous healing. Like Maureen, it never occurred to me that medical miracles occurred in our modern times(although since embracing my faith in a deeper way, I have been made aware of some). Miracles happened centuries ago in the Bible stories that I learned back in Catholic school 60 years ago. This modern day healing totally blows me away. Even more impressive is Bob’s unwavering faith and acceptance of God’s will and spousal support through it all, no matter the outcome. What a good man you are. How beautiful and humbling it must be for your family to be part of God’s plan to have had Sister Faustina canonized a saint. I especially love Maureen‘s closing words on the value of intercessory prayer. They are so appropriate today on the feast day of Saint Augustine: “ when you love someone, don’t nag him, pray for him”. May God continue to bless the Digan family. St Faustina Pray for us. On a personal note, I am grateful you shared the story because my son David has a dear friend who suffers from lymphoedema. I have told my son your story and urged him to share it with his friend. Now I can share your testimony in your own words. ❤️🤍❤️

The occasions on which the Church is competent to judge that a particular war is just or unjust are likely to be very rare indeed - which is why Pope John Paul II exceeded his competence in his judgement of the war of the Coalition against Iraq. Each state by original jurisdiction, and by the Charter of the United Nations the Security Council, determines the existence of a threat to the peace, breach of the peace, or act of aggression and decides what measures are to be undertaken to restore international peace and security. Unless the Pope is able to determine that the facts of a case plainly do not in reason support a determination of state responsibility for a threat, breach or act of aggression, he cannot intervene - though arguably he would have been within his rights to demand that Iraq surrender unconditionally.

The woman went back to Africa, and their son passed away at age 18, so there's not much to tell.
