If they are close to you, they should understand. Honestly, some Muslims feel that it is necessary to show off so they try to make it as flashy as possible so they also include music. If you not attending will destroy a link between you and you kin, you should go even though you hate the haram and you do not partake in it. If this will not affect that relationship, then don't go. Allahu Alim. Ask your sheikh.
In-shā'-Allāh you are not sinful for that type of music because it is out of your control, and you are not purposefully listening to it. And Allah knows best.
@@thetruthfulreporter2763 That's hardship that Allah does not want for us. Take things easy and live normally. As long as you don't intend it, it's Inshallah fine. I'd like to point that shouting using text (i.e. ALL CAPS) or even in real life isn't a way to teach religion. Muslims are all brothers and we should treat each other rightfully and calmly.
The issue is not music. This video is about Desi community. I have reservations to single out Desi community as if they are the only one involved in this. What about the Arab community? Have you been to their parties. Have you seen their dresses? What about African and Asian Muslims. So next time don't criticize one community. If music is prohibited it applies to whole Muslim community across the society.
Imagine being kicked out of those weddings even one of your sibling is getting marry. I've got Ph.D to escape muzik... A big thanks to mummy for letting me deep in the ocean of trouble to come back with strength but don't slap me next time in publiccc. I would react differently thennnnnnnn Love you sooooooooo much mummy
Thanks so much for this video :) I hear so much about bad songs and not-so-bad ones, but very few people actually discuss the difference between them. Are they talking about instruments or the words? What if you play some old songs that aren't explicit but talk about love in an innocent way? Is talking about love so bad? What if this was in a gender-segregated party? :)
I have been told that it is permissable because it doesn't involve any musical instruments, but the content of the song shouldn't be bad. Like, contain swear words or convey bad messages.
He already explained that. If does not support haram, if it does not mock the deen, if it has no shirk, bidah or kufr, no backbiting, foul language and so on it is allowed. Many scholars say singing that has no benefit even if not haram is disliked . If the acapella is reminding you of the deen and calling to good and such then you can listen with no worries. But you should limit how much you listen.
Asalam u alaikum shaikh @Saad Tasleem , I respect you from the bottom of my heart so please don't take any offence but how about the music in the beginning of every video in this series? jazakAllah khairun
Brother, if you keep watching until the end of the video you would notice that it says "no musical instruments were used in the production of this video, nor any kittens were harmed" brother Saad already clarified that what you hear at the beginning of the video is just beat-boxing. Salam Muhammad Zubair
What is the benefit of this beatboxing? Using Qur'anic recitations will actually draw people closer to Islam. Muslims and non Muslims. Many young Muslims are sadly enough already wasting time with all that rhythmic stuff. May Allah Azza wa Jal forgive us and guide us.
Assalamualakum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatohu ,Jazaakillallah khairan for sharing such a important information
It's so difficult when someone close to you is getting married, is having a wedding and then contains lots of haram music! The struggles real!

It's not music at the beginning of each video, it's beatboxing :)
So it is permissible/excusable to be in the presence of music, where we aren't actually intentionally listening, but just hearing?
The deen is easy. You can hate it in your heart and still go to a grocery store that might play music if you have to.
There goes Afghan weddings. Ya Allah!
Loool! same here :D but Alhamdulillah more than happy without those kind of wedding ^^
Music is everywhere restaurant, malls, even doc offices etc. it can't be avoided, is still sinful for us?
In-shā'-Allāh you are not sinful for that type of music because it is out of your control, and you are not purposefully listening to it. And Allah knows best.
Saad Tasleem i would take my mp3 player with lectures in it and listen to that!
ITS BETTER TRY TO AVOID GOING TO SUCH PLACES......BETTER TRY TO SPEND MOST OF UR TIME WITH UR FAMILY AT HOME OR AT MOSQUE

When the wedding is mixed and also has music being played, shouldn't it be avoided totally?
Yes it should be avoided.
Imagine being kicked out of those weddings even one of your sibling is getting marry.

Noor Moretti Haha, no problem =)

It is allowed for non Desi community
I’m not attending a marriage if there’s no music.

That's how dajjal would talk like. A person is answering permissibility of music in a vdo that contains high bits! Height of nonsense!
