In my country (Austria) these golfcarts are mostly driven by older people because they are classified as "motorbikes" (lol, don't know why). The motorbike drivers licence was introduced in 1980 and everyone born before July 1st 1980 can drive a golfcart without any permit, altough the bike/ golfcart also need all the things shown in this video.

Why would you need a license? It's s low speed vehicle . Electric bikes traveling on roads that are low speed typically don't require a license
I miss Colorado
I actually seen a golf cart for sale at my local Walmart yesterday for about $8,000. It got my curiosity because its not the kind of thing I thought they would sell there.
Not that I would actually buy it but I did begin to wonder if I could legally drive it home or if id have to load it on to a trailer or something. 😆

The DMV is dumb as h.ll
So you need a license to drive a golf cart only going 20mph to 25mph at its fastest.
I underatand if you need a license to drive a sedan truck suv semi tractor since they are huge and can move at speeds 40mph to 100mph which can turn a person into soup.
But a golf cart though
