Those are electric shears. There are any different kinds. Some are for straight lines, others are throatless and allow more precise curved cuts -Mike/ITG
Thanks James, yea it's hard to believe it's the same pile of parts looking at it today!! I am still thinking on the windshield. I have the original windshield frame and stanchions I think I may modify and lean back a little. I will also only run one half of the windshield as well. I gotta mock it up and stare at it for a bit. Honestly I'd prefer to run it without one if I could, the lines of the car are so clean without it! -Matt/ITG
Hi William,I used 18 gauge as I had planned to weld it into the cowl and make it a structural part of the car. Normally if it just bolted into the car I'd do it out of 20 gauge as it's a lot easier to manipulate. Thanks for watching! -Matt/ITG
Wow, did that ever change the look of the car. Excellent job.
The look of this car is absolutely perfect. Matt had a knack for having a vision and hitting the nail on the head. Thanks for watching -Mike/ITG
Great video! I hope to get somewhere with my traditional A hot rod this year!
