This was great Jeremy. I’m sorry I missed it live. Did my original Control4 system in 2012, have a tech programming background with most of the same aspects you control in your home (theatre, lighting, audio and video) with upgrades along the way. I picked up a couple things along the way, I also like to program / tweak my own system. I wish I had a guy like Dan to work with remotely. Super knowledgeable and seems easy to work with! One main system difference is I have matrixed video for living, bedroom and kids play room. Haven’t taken the 4K plunge there yet (did for the theatre projector) but thinking about moving some or all of the TVs to 4K and trying to figure out if I should think differently about my past approached to matrixed sources vs dedicated. Maybe this is an interesting follow up topic for you and Dan in another video.
How do you find the anthem zone 2, Iv watched your videos on your old marantz and denon setup. Just wondering if the AVM70 has zone 2 sending full audio or just 2ch.
First of all, thank you for the informative video! I'm planning to program a few keypads to manage the lighting and blinds. However, I've encountered a small issue - I can't seem to find the existing script for these keypads. When I inquired about it with the Dealer, they mentioned that the existing programming is done using bindings. Unfortunately, apart from strongly advising not to use Comp HE, they couldn't clarify whether there might be any conflicts if I decide to re-program the keypads using Composer HE. I was wondering if any of you could offer some advice on this matter? Your insights would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, you can have items directly bound to buttons too. Some of my buttons on some keypads are bound and some are programmed depending on the purpose they serve. If you want a button to just directly control a light (on, off, and hold to dim), then a binding makes sense.
Missed the live Had to wake up early for work but watching the replay now. Looking forward to this one cause considering the one room version of control 4 👍🏻
I’m a big fan of the Control4 one room system. Price is right in the range of other premium custom remotes. But C4 also includes a full suite of hi-res music streaming apps, on-screen home page, remote dealer support, etc. Most important it gives you an upgrade path to add options like climate, lighting, door locks, water sensors, shades, additional music zones, etc.
Hi there. Thanks for sharing. I'm having an issue lately. The Director doesn't open because of a different date/time to the notebook which is right. How to adjust the date/time of the Director? Thanks.
Does the chime door bell make a loud announcement so the house can hear it And not just a notification on phone or screen Because you may not be near the screen or your phone
My doorbell is an audio file that sounds like a bell. You can custom load any sound/WAV-file you want into the announcement. It plays to various audio zones in house.
@@Techthusiasm Thank you I was told that audio was tricky on C4 Another question Is it difficult to add Spotify play list to the c4 screen Would you have a link Thankyou again
I have not used Spotify with C4, but I think it's fairly natively supported in the system. Your dealer should be able to help make sure it's in your config and get you set. If not, you could reach out to Dan for some remote help.
Thanks for the informative video! While I appreciate the detailed content, I found myself skipping through to get to the key points. It would be great if future videos could be more concise, focusing directly on the main topics. This would make the valuable information you're sharing even more accessible and engaging. Thanks again

You might need to contact Control4 or your dealer on that one.
