Both Republicans and Democrats Love War | Guests: Tulsi Gabbard | Ep 281

- There was a time when the Democratic Party marketed itself as a home for the anti-war Left, with protesters routinely showing up at Republican events to condemn American involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan. However, with the election of Barack Obama, those voices fell silent, and since then, both major political parties have demanded more wars, more drone strikes, and more military spending. @TulsiGabbard, author of “For Love of Country: Leave the Democrat Party Behind,” rose to national prominence as a veteran and presidential candidate bold enough to stand up to the war machine, and for her efforts she was demonized as a traitor and a Russian asset. In this conversation with Matt Kibbe, Gabbard explains why she parted ways with her old party and what Americans can do to take back their power over the political elite who are supposed to work for them.

Kibbe on Liberty is a weekly podcast with libertarian author, economist, and community organizer Matt Kibbe. As the president of Free the People, Kibbe has decades of experience in the libertarian political sphere, but in these troubled times he believes that open dialogue is needed to bring people together. This means being willing to talk, and especially listen, to those with whom we might not always agree, trying to understand perspectives that might otherwise be foreign to us.
Kibbe on Liberty's growing roster of guests includes politicians, economists, comedians, writers, radio personalities, activists, journalists, and even a magician or two-with topics of conversation ranging from current affairs to craft beer and the Grateful Dead. So grab a cold one, and settle in for the next hour of Kibbe on Liberty, mostly honest conversations with mostly interesting people.

Truthteller, Love Tulsi
Tulsi Gabbard is fierce. America is in desperate need of Tulsi Gabbard NOW!
Yay! More Kibbe on Liberty!
tulsi is the best
Love Tulsi
Trump/Tulsi 2024 🇺🇸
I would love to see Tulsi Gabbard, Rand Paul, Thomas Massie and Mike Lee join Justin Amash in the Libertarian Party.
Dang, I can't wait for the glorious day we elect Tulsi Gabbard as our President.....Aside from being a great help to President Trump, a 4 year stint as VP would be a perfect next step.
Tulsi is America at its best. Maybe thats why people love to kick at her, I don't understand it, at all.
She used to be a Democrat and some find that hard to forgive.
I would love to see a Trump-Gabbard ticket.
(question: why)
@@Mario500NOW why? Tulsi is opposite of Trump but complements him well. She is a great speaker, a constitutionalist, maybe a little left of center, but that is a bridge to some on the other side. Plus she's a vet, well currently serving.
liberal and conservative government human will politics separate from divine will unity central authority
That's an asinine statement.
(suggestion for any future video similar to this one (or life in general): no vulgar (or profane) language (example: no using such language in front of a guest))
Alo-ha Tulsi
as long as their elite asses aint got to fight it and they get rich off of it which is all the time well of course they love it
Makes sense why she went from democrats to republicans, she fits in great with both camps
She talks a good game. But, she endorsed Bernie in 2016. Then she ran in 2020. Rather than endorse Bernie in 2020, she drops out with the rest of the democratic field and endorses Biden in a coordinated move.
Now, 3 1/2 years later she acts like she made a mistake and tears Biden down and talks about how terrible he is (which he is) and how she's an independent.
I've been watching her for years. She has no clear policy ideas. Every interview is laced with platitudes and word salad. She can never be pinned down on really what she stands for on anything.
She is dismal on Israel. The past 7 months has revealed her as a Zionist. She's always talking about "radical Islamic terrorism, " a stale, warmed over talking point from the disastrous Bush era.
I can't believe I ever supported her. She's a political camelian, and a ckimber trying to be relevant.
She has either been compromised or paid off
She use to be somewhat American first, now she is rael first
Rand Paul has done his share of dealing as well, in order to keep existing in the Trump years. It's hard to pick the right line between abandoning your principles and never accomplishing anything.
Exactly 💯 %
Only one problem with your conclusion. If she is a climber, why would she leave the Democrat Party? Her net worth is abysmal. The fake people are easy to spot, they are the ones who are multi-millionaires on a government salary. Fortunately, Lt. Col Gabbard isn’t one of them. Her principles come from both conservative parents and home schooling.
@endofthetunnel Well you know how it is. But she was new in Congress
and sort of naive, okay? would we want people in the military to have a big bias,
especially if they get political while in the military, unless the given person has been through all kinds of experiences and has learned from their experiences and Tusli does acknowledge her mistakes, which goes really against mainstream American culture these days. Voters elect people and then instead of giving themselves at least part of the blame/RESPONSIBITY for their choices, they blame everyone but themselves. And that is what I think what seperates people Tulsi Gabbard from the rest of us!
Sounds and looks good but I don’t trust her one bit
we don't trust you, hiding behind the internet ...easy to throw darts from as keyboard warrior / troll than to be out there risking your skin for a community/ cause and bla bla bla
