Literally on point! The first time I saw Timothee I knew he's extraordinary in many aspects and is an all-timer! As time goes by not only does he prove but he far exceeds beyond expectations. There's a huge chance that he may actually be The Greatest Actor of All Time! There's just no way he just learned all that, he is definitely blessed by God! I am shocked how completely natural he is each time. I've never seen an actor who's THAT natural and truthful all the time, it's so beyond just film and performing. He never appears to "act". And this is coming from someone who LOVES Meryl Streep, Robert De Niro, Isabelle Huppert, Daniel Day Lewis, Cate Blanchett...I love so many actors and so many great performances, but that's mostly what they are, "great performances". With Timothee it never seems "performed", it always genuinely appears to be like we're actually spying on a real human being in real time! To THAT level! And he's so different each time! We're watching so many real and different people with real and different lives, through one person! I always forget I'm watching an actor. I've seen so many great actors filmography, but with the little that Timothee has shown, is enough for him to be known and hailed as THE ACTOR. Thank you! And thank you for this channel! I love film and actors. And I love and enjoy your insights! Very beautifully and intelligently put! I wonder what you think about Florence Pugh and her performance in "Midsommar"..
@@thejessegrant Oh My Goodness! Looking forward to watching it! I really enjoy how you explain things and put things into perspective! I've been subscribed since a month ago and have been binge watching and re-watching your videos since then! I think I may have a crush on you! Haha!
Hi, I met Timothee backstage, after a performance of ''Prodigal Son'' I spent 15 minutes talking to him. No, at that time, there wasn't a line forming to get an autograph. haha We spent most of the time talking about his highschool, and us growing up (at different times) in Manhattan. I felt as if I was talking to an old friend, until I mentioned how wonderful his performance was. we lost eye contact and he was looking at the floor and sincerely humbled and embarrassed by my compliments. He's not impressed with himself. From what I've seen, he hasn't changed. I've watched him in interviews and unless he's done 10 of them back to back and he's begun to repeat himself, he seems to be the same boy, turned into an older and slightly more mature, humble young man. after the first few minutes, of watching him in a movie, i forget that there is an actor playing the part. he becomes the character and the character becomes him
Timothee also once bought his fans bagels at a red carpet premier for one of his films. Dude is not only a dreamboat, fantastic actor but also has a good soul.
I remember , an interview he did for CMBYN. he talked about that it wasn't that long ago, that he, was a 'fanboy" on the other side of the barrier. He was amazingly humble back then and hasn't changed. i have the feeling that his ears close, when he's complemented and still doesn't get what all the fuss is all about.
the sheer range of Timothée going from playing a cannibal in Bones & All, to WONKA and back to Paul Atreides in Dune part 2... he's on another level for real
Talk about range, Willy Wonka is another movie where he could potentially earn an Oscar. Yes, he also sings and dance. BTW he was the showstopper on the red carpet at the Oscars.
Love his acting! I can say he's one of the best actors of his generation. He is bold, authentic, empathetic and has integrity. I think that's also what makes him a great actor. Btw, the name of that comedy movie on Netflix with Leo DiCaprio is Don't Look Up
I love Timothee Chalamet's acting and admire him as a person. But (without seeing the move), to think playing a cannibal is going to win him any awards is pretty farfetched. (It is pretty crazy, how low would the Academy have to stoop.)
Timothee is phenomenal in all he does. I’ve never seen anything like it !! I first saw him on Netflix, the film, the king and I couldn’t believe what I was watching such talent and now he has three films coming out Dune, Willy, Wonka , and Bob Dylan,, I watched every movie he’s made so far and I can’t wait for Dune, part two and Willy Wonka !! And My God how Amazing was Beautiful Boy !!I even love his performance at LaGuardia high school. Timmy Tim makes me laugh every time because he’s so good and video statistics I am so happy that there is finally a beautiful actor and is a wonderful human being !!!
I'd love someone to compare Timothee's character in The King and Dune. I know this won't be popular but I feel like it's a similar story for the main character but his character is developed more extensively in the King.
Definitely is a similar story actually the same story. So Dune the book actually took its story from Shakespeare King Henry. And so did the Godftather, and that’s why both Paul atredies and Michael Corleone have a similar character arc.
Haha lmao. that is the first thing I thought of when I heard about the new movie! I really hope his handlers forbid the interviewers to bring that up. Before the "rib bone" email was made public, I worried that because Tim and Armie and his wife filed for divorce, that Tim might have been a remote problem for the wife and mentioned in the divorce papers. haha Now, Armie and Cannibalism and the movie? No bars held . haha .
Hi Jesse, You captured Timothee in a bottle! Brilliant video. thanks. If you haven't already noticed ''HEARTSTOPPER!" Please pay attention to it. it just premiered on netflix...It's geared towards teens, but works well for all ages. Aside from Olivia Colman the cast is a lot of newcomers, but you would never know it. To me a lot of the appeal is the fact you don’t notice him acting and you don’t think of him acting. He is always seems to be just ‘being’. Which is the goal of acting to not actually be acting and be the character.
