After watching Anurag Kashyap in Salon i was like WTF 🤯 they're showing 2 Timeline and we didn't realize until we see Anurag entering the salon 🔥🔥🔥 what an amazing Screenplay Nithilan Swaminathan 👌 & Snake metaphor was also really good.

When Maharaja gestures the 'Lakshmi/Dustbin' the hand gesture he does isn't to show how big the dustbin was but it is how he held her adopted daughter when she was a child. Who the hell writes these kind of scene needs big f**king raise!

This movie was recommended to me by my brother and when I watched the movie he was there . He asked me how I liked this movie , I couldn't say a word because the ending. After some time I told him that I really loved this movie.

After reading all the comments I also found in that if you see the first half of the movie maharaja (Vijay sethupathi) trys to touch every police officer's back because his daughter (Selvan's daughter) told him that one of the stranger had a injury on his back. Fantastic script and screenplay by the movie crew and have you noticed it?
Ek aur interesting baat about this movie. A great importance has been given to the child's feet. Aisi achi tarah se detailing hai ki, it left me surprised. Right from the moment the girl is born, Anurag kisses the child's feet, aisa lagta hai ki he feels some kind of divinity in her feet. Even he selects a chain with infant's feet. Surprisingly, the girl becomes an athlete, woh bhi running. And the tragic part is, with the next encounter between the girl and her real father, he breaks exactly the same feet, which brings an end to her athletic career. When it's shown at the end when Anurag recollects the events, it becomes a heartwrenching sequence to audience too. Isn't it?

Just watched this movie on Netflix. Have to say, it's a brilliantly-crafted edge of the seat thriller that keeps u hooked right from the starting to all the way till the end with it's top-notch storytelling & non-linear screenplay. Phenomenal performances by all the cast members especially Makkal selvan sir & anurag kashyap. The climax, although reminded me of the malayalam movie "iratta", was totally unpredictable & literally froze me for at least 5 minutes after the movie ended. Bollywood will surely show the evidence of it's impotency by making a remake of this movie. Hats off to all the cast & crew for presenting such a masterpiece to the world. ❤️🔥

One scene where he plays the voice mail of his daughter in police station, it wasn't the moment he received it rather he was just replaying it and it confused us with the timeline. Also his sole reason for going to police station was finding the man, he never had plans to file FIR.
Ngl when we came to know that they did wrong with her daughter ( i immediately knew that the girl was Anurag's daughter ) it was about the last 29 minutes. So the end revelation didn't shock or surprise me. And idk why people didn't realise anything? It was super easy to guess and also it was super easy to follow the timelines.

Excellent and top class movie mainly because of great screenplay. One major blunder of the screenplay is that they show the showering of lots of love and affection to his daughter by the the main villain Selvam . Moviegoers of Indian films know that , at the end of most of the movies the villain has to undergo the same sufferings what he had inflicted to to others in the beginning . Here also he does the same thing to his daughter (with out knowing ) and suffers lot when he realises .

I won't be able to forget the traumatic ending of Maharaja so easily. I literally cried at the end, dono Vijay Sethupati aur Anurag Kashyap ke career ki one of the best acting performances hain, jo yaad rakhi jayengi. It is one of the best movies of 2024!

Ek aur interesting baat about this movie. A great importance has been given to the child's feet. Aisi achi tarah se detailing hai ki, it left me surprised. Right from the moment the girl is born, Anurag kisses the child's feet, aisa lagta hai ki he feels some kind of divinity in her feet. Even he selects a chain with infant's feet. Surprisingly, the girl becomes an athlete, woh bhi running. And the tragic part is, with the next encounter between the girl and her real father, he breaks exactly the same feet, which brings an end to her athletic career. When it's shown at the end when Anurag recollects the events, it becomes a heartwrenching sequence to audience too. Isn't it?

Just watched this movie on Netflix. Have to say, it's a brilliantly-crafted edge of the seat thriller that keeps u hooked right from the starting to all the way till the end with it's top-notch storytelling & non-linear screenplay. Phenomenal performances by all the cast members especially Makkal selvan sir & anurag kashyap. The climax, although reminded me of the malayalam movie "iratta", was totally unpredictable & literally froze me for at least 5 minutes after the movie ended. Bollywood will surely show the evidence of it's impotency by making a remake of this movie. Hats off to all the cast & crew for presenting such a masterpiece to the world. ❤️🔥

The dustbin is also shown under the hospital bed of Selvam's daughter, after that incident when she is hospitalized. This shows that the dustbin was at the hospital during the current timeline.

Even I was mesmerized by the story and screenplay too completely unpredictable and amazing twits and turns throughout the movie.
Ngl when we came to know that they did wrong with her daughter ( i immediately knew that the girl was Anurag's daughter ) it was about the last 29 minutes. So the end revelation didn't shock or surprise me.
And idk why people didn't realise anything? It was super easy to guess and also it was super easy to follow the timelines.
But how did you know that time that girl was Anurag daughter...how..what clue you found at that 29 minute.

Excellent and top class movie mainly because of great screenplay.
One major blunder of the screenplay is that they show the showering of lots of love and affection to his daughter by the the main villain Selvam . Moviegoers of Indian films know that , at the end of most of the movies the villain has to undergo the same sufferings what he had inflicted to to others in the beginning . Here also he does the same thing to his daughter (with out knowing ) and suffers lot when he realises .
