陳佳，土生土長北京人，中國內地流行女歌手、 鋼琴家 、詞曲創作人。 雖然陳佳從未見過鄧麗君，但自幼受家人影響，對鄧麗君本人及其歌曲產生非同一般的感情，每逢到台灣，都盡量抽時間去拜祭鄧麗君。
以下是陳佳迄今按時間順序排列的較重要事件：
三歲起師從中央音樂學院鋼琴系一位頂級的鋼琴教授學習鋼琴。
十一歲考入世界七大童聲合唱團之一的中國交響樂團附屬少年及女子合唱團，在團十年期間，多次出訪國外幷獲獎。
十三歲獲得全國音協考級及中央音樂學院海內外鋼琴考級最高級證書，曾多次在北京市中小學藝術節中獲獎。
十八歲考獲清華大學全國高中鋼琴特長生第一級(最高級)證書，及北京大學全國高中生鋼琴考試第二名。
畢業於北京「對外經濟貿易大學」金融學系，後赴德國漢堡大學留學，以優異成績取得國際企業管理碩士學位，學成回國後任職中銀國際證券有限公司，專責為A股上市。

(二)陳佳有沒有刻意模仿鄧麗君唱歌？
陳佳年幼時盡量刻意模仿鄧麗君的聲音，但當年紀漸長，她不再刻意追求模仿鄧麗君的聲音， 而是從更深的層次出發，研究鄧的演唱技巧和發聲方法等，經多年硏究， 鄧的演唱技巧和發聲方法已融入她的骨子裏，成為她自己的歌唱技巧的一部分，能運用自如， 不需要刻意模仿鄧麗君。
鄧麗君三哥說，陳佳本身的聲音就近似鄧麗君的聲音， 她並沒有刻意模仿鄧麗君的聲音， 若刻意模仿，只能唱幾首歌相似，不可能唱這麼多首歌都這麼接近。
2017年11月，陳佳在中國常州電台說，她再沒有聽鄧麗君的歌了， 又解釋說若扭曲自己去刻意模仿別人， 便會與自己本質脫節， 不會唱得自然， 不會唱得好聽，她只憑自己對歌曲的感覺去唱。
2020年6月，陳佳在中山小欖「聲雅音響」接受hifi168訪問時說，她從來沒想過致力於模仿，也不可能去鑽研「如何模仿得更像」，大家都喜歡說她是「學鄧麗君」，其實對她來說那就是在學「唱歌」，她學的是鄧麗君的歌唱技巧，是鄧處理歌曲的方法，但是，同時她也學習其他的演唱技巧，她今天呈現的歌聲，是她綜合學習音樂的結果，而不是模仿鄧麗君的結果。有一些人的關注點永遠停留在「像與不像」這個層面上，而不是關注「好與不好」，這是一件很遺憾的事情，你「像」一個大家公認是「好」的東西，這沒什麼問題，何必糾結「像」呢？她之所以喜歡鄧麗君，是因為鄧唱得好，有些人一定要說這是模仿，這個她也沒辦法，她總不能為了刻意避免「像」反而拋棄了「好」吧。每個人的表演是忠於自己還是刻意模仿別人其實是很容易分辨的，她現在唱歌應該說都是她最自然、自如、流暢和舒服的表達，那這就是她本來的樣子。
2021年10月20日晚，在抖音直播，有歌迷要求陳佳用鄧麗君的聲音去唱流行歌曲， 陳佳回答說，她只會用自己的聲音去唱鄧麗君歌曲和流行歌曲。
