- In this video I'm going to walk you through how to create a portfolio website from scratch. We will be using GitHub Pages and Visual Studio Code.

Just a helpful tip:
When adding social media links add target= "_blank" after the href tag, it will open the links in a new tab instead of the portfolio website's page. This helps save the recruiter/interviewer's time by not having to click "back" every time there's a link

I studied for all of last year but I never felt like I was good enough to start doing projects. I recently challenged myself to do as much as possible within two weeks. I already created a website and am halfway through completing project 2 (Tableau). I am so excited about the future and creating more projects. Thank you so much for everything you do!

Just started watching your channel a week ago. I’ll be graduating with a data science degree next may, but wanted to learn more than what I was poorly taught in class over the last year. Crazy to realize that you work within 10 minutes of where I grew up. I’m now up in frisco, but it makes your story even more inspiring to me. To know that it took place where I’ll also be looking for work.

Great video! I tried a few other options before but will go with this one for my website. I recently started following your other videos and liked them. I had problems with the SQL project but will try again this weekend. I think it is related to the SQL Server installation issue.
